War declaration - Is this a bug?
This happened twice in my campaign but the second time I noticed it I had the saves to go back and see when it happened and what went down. Basically I am getting war declared on me from people I made peace with then taking a negative standing hit when they declare war on me without the 10 turn cool-down period expiring. I am also not getting a formal declaration notification when they declare war instead having to find it within the events after the turn changes. Its almost as if the game is reading that I declared war on them instead of the other way around.

For background I have no military allies or defensive allies...conquered a bunch of territories over 90 turns and then decided to try and make peace with what was left on my borders.

Factions involved:
Macednon - Made peace with them 2 turn prior to video
Dolopia - Never fought them but they are Def allies with Macednon when this occurs

2 turns ago, I made peace with Macednon. In the two turns after that I gave them gifts and a province to improve relations. I have no armies in their lands and not 1 of the 3 parties involved here has made any aggressive behavior to eachother. I know they technically can declare war on me for whatever reason but I am not getting notified of the declaration and I am the one taking the the negative hit to my standing as if I declared war and didn't respect the 10 turn cool-down period following a peace declaration. That is what I think may be a bug.
I am only running the 5 Agony mods which I absolutely love BTW so thank you as well.

You can see at 14s I have no military or defensive allies that could have caused the war. My standing is currently unreliabile at -21(My relability is low because something similar happened to me a while back in the campaign but I noticed it too late to have a save available to go back and figure out what happened.)

You can also see I am not at war with Macednon or his ally:

You can also see he is not military or defensive allies with anyone I'm currently beefing with. At 24s you cans ee my relations have been improving with him due to gift giving, region trading, other deals/actions...

I left the end turn phase in normal speed so you can see I am definitely never notified of war during or after the turn change...

-Ignore the trade at 37s
-Macednon turn happens at around 1m 47s
-Dolopia turn happens at 1m 57s
-End of turn change at around 3m - I was not notified of war declaration during their turns or at end of turn.
-At 3m 12s I show the war declarations found in events although it doesn't say who declared what on whom.
-At 3m 30s you can see I have taken another negative hit to my standing through no actions of my own.

Troubleshooting to see what went down:

-I ran the turn change several times...war is always declared, I am never notified formally, and I always take the standing hit
-I tried giving Macednon every resource I had and also tried giving him diff regions bordering him...War was still declared and I took a hit without being notified.
-I then noticed he had a defensive ally that also declared war(Dolopia) so I instead gave them a bunch of gifts and was able to stop them both from declaring war on the turn change.

So it's obviously Dolopia that was causing the war. He's a defensive ally with Macednon and not in a military alliance. So Dolopia declared war on me and then convinced his Def ally to also declare war on me. This is all fine... but why was I not notified and why did I take the negative hit to my standing?

I read through most of the pages of comments on the mod and saw you had developed some of your own AI regarding little factions banding together to oppose huge threats on their borders so I was wondering if this may be related to that as I am #1 in strength. Again.... it's fine if they want to declare war but I should get the formal declaration and I shouldn't be the one taking the negative standing hit. It's almost as if the game is reading the situation as me declaring war on them instead of the way it actually went down.

Thanks for the lengthy explanation Wyrmstar, this is both good to see that the Agony AI mechanic works but also showing a potential bug with the direction of war declaration.
I think everything works well, in the sense that Macedon is joining a minor faction in war against a major threat (especially since you are the #1 threat).
Indeed, the declaration should be directed towards you and not the other way around.

I will investigate and try to fix that with the next update.
