i tried to hop on a moving train with this, and hang from a roof, but it didn't work is there any settings?

Don't think it's working for me.
Edit - Me take back what me said, but it doesn't work as me thought it would.
It's not like ye hold on and climb up, but it's more like ye hold onto something and ye can swing around like a doll on the rope. Will be clearer if hold on to somewhere higher than where ye stand.
