Real Orbits
Possible to change gravity radius?
I've got a server I'm running, on the Solar System start that is using the Real Orbits mod, and players are reporting that they're having difficulty on the moon as they're walking sideways since they're still in the Earthlikes gravity well. Is there a way to change the range of gravity?

I think the only things you can do are either 1. move the planets farther apart or 2. go into the mod config and set enforcesinglegravitywell or something like that to true so that you can only have gravity from 1 celestial body at a time.

Real orbits changes gravity falloff as a core feature of the mod so if you still want to be able to use the mod normally I don't think you can use the vanilla solar system. I am pretty sure there is a real orbits version somewhere on the workshop though.

If you already have bases and stuff on earth, then you can go into admin mod and delete and respawn the moon farther away. you will most likely need to do that for every celestial body in the system as well.

I was hoping to avoid needing to do that but had a feeling that would be my only recourse. Fortunately no one has built on any body other than the earthlike, though I do have economy on and moving the moons around each major body means I'll also need to delete and relocate or just delete all orbital trading stations.

You can try running Orbiters SE Simulator, an alternative that does not use vanilla gravity sphere of influence and allows really high orbits.
With it gravity well of Earthlike/Moon will be vanilla, but their SoI will be way larger ( may even be infinite, but reverse square law decreases pulling force with distance + smaller bodies have smaller SoI).

It does not have orbit line display, but a couple of programs exist to visualize orbit and show details.
