Feel free to report map bugs and minor issues with trains in this thread. Please include a screenshot of map area if it has a problem

21 September 2014
- Third rail kills you (this is unrealistic, but as a joke it does)
- Addon now keeps track of total amount of electricity used by trains
- Modelling of voltage drop during train acceleration
- Added optional UPPS system (command is 'metrostroi_upps 1'). This system warns about approach stations
- Fixed braking, removed sudden jerk in the end of electric braking
- T1A braking mode now also engages pneumatic valve #1 like in real 81-717
- Added power meter entity
- Added 334 valve leaking
- Pneumatic valve #1 is now released when doors are closed shut on Kyiv paint trains
- Proper RK rotation for 81-717 (faster return when disengaging brakes on station)

8 September 2014
- Train wheels now rotate
- New more powerful announcer (use program1/program2 buttons to trigger announcements!)
- Added air distributor (see on the left side of the train, you can turn it off to release pneumobrakes)
- Fine-tuned pneumatic brakes
- Added "metrostroi_fail" command to generate a random failure
- Added new screeching sound on some sharp turns
- Added sound of train chassis experiencing stress when starting/stopping

6 September 2014
- You can now sit in any passenger wagons using Sit Anywhere script (if it's installed, just press ALT+E)

28 August 2014
- Added new sounds for the 81-717 controller
- Full-size map is now in a separate addon. This addon only includes downsized version!

- Added more track and two new stations

- Fixed overexcitement of engines and too much residual magnetic field during last stages of braking
- Train line depletion now much more realistic (takes more time when train valves are open)
- Moved seats in 81-717 cabin so extra players sitting in cabin get better view

27 June 2014
- Added KRU (emergency controller). SHIFT+8 puts reverser wrench into KRU, button 8 will engage emergency control, 9 and 0 control the drive mode
- Added two new ARS panel styles
- Added Kyiv metro skin
- New tool to configure 81-717/714 trains (select ARS, drivers valve, controller sounds, skins)
- Added new type of driver valve (013). Fixed model of the old valve (334).
- New sounds (LK of Ezh3, new controller sounds for 81-717, new RK spinning sounds for Ezh3)
- Train perfomance is maximally realistic now

Map updated to version 44:
- Added new big depot beyond last station
- Fixed skybox

20 June 2014
- Added sound of rheostat controller rotating to the trains
- Added horizontal-lift (closed type) stations
- Basic IGLA system for 81-717 that warns about rheostat overheats
- Can select where reverser wrench is with SHIFT+7,8,9,0 keys. (7: out of cabin, 8: emergency control, 9: always in cabin, 0: automatic/default)

Map updated to version 43:
- Increased length of all tracks to 53,347 meters
- Added four new stations

14 June 2014
- Fixed ARS generating permanently red light sections sometimes
- Improved perfomance (no more small stutter every second in a while)
- In 81-717 the X2 drive mode now works like in real train. It will engage both series and parallel circuits. The correct way to drive on this train is to engage X2, then go back to X1 which will freeze rheostat and maintain constant engine acceleration.
- Added subtle transient effects to train line pressure arrow
- Added proper operation of door close switch, door open buttons, door side select switch in 81-717
- Fixed rheostat rotation rates. Rheostats now spin to position 1 much faster
- LKVP light in 81-717 now operates correctly
- Added sound for doors opening and closing without any delay (in case "door close" switch was left in closed position)
- Door close switch now properly oriented
- AVU now makes a sound since it's also located in cabin
- Horn has much shorter starting delay
- Fixed train debugger to show all the variables once again

Map updated to version 42:
- Should fix many missing texture bugs
- Fix black spots on Minskaya stations walls
- Started re-adding overground track
- Started laying out (again) the industrial district
- Park Pobedy station area is nicened up

4 June 2014
- Added ARS-only operation mode of track signals (by default). Use "metrostroi_arsmode 0" to turn signals back on, "metrostroi_arsmode 1" to turn on ARS-only mode. The difference is, while in normal mode traffic lights block entire section in front of it, in ARS-only mode only 100-meter long ARS sections are blocked. Traffic lights only mimic ARS signals.
- Removed 3-unit offset from all 81* models
- Moved circuit breakers from inside the 81-717 wall into the cabin (their functions don't match with descriptions though)
- 81-714 now displays current amperes and voltage, as well as brake status.
- Fixed bug with passengers not boarding the entire train. They will now board every wagon properly!
- Relay clicking sounds are louder
- Sprites (metro train lights) are visible from further distance and don't fade away anymore.

2 June 2014
- Added sounds for relays which are located in train cabins
- LK2 and LK5 contactors now properly work: the train power circuits disengage with an intermediate step and it actually matters now.
- Added sound for changing reverser, engaging power circuits (linear contactors close sound)
- Added train overheating (the train overheats if it runs for too long with X1 mode engaged)
- Value of brake-start resistors now changes depending on their temperature
- Added 'ring' button for communicating between different ends of 81-717 (same function that's done by DIP on button in Ezh3)

- Added spawnicons for everything
- Added labels for lights in 81-717
- Improved compatibility with different maps (other than metrostroi itself).

- Train perfomance has been altered. Resistance of engine winding coils was halved, so the train acceleration and braking is much better
- Added a hacky intermediate transfer position between series and parallel power circuits, so there is no sudden spike in current anymore
- Added proper ARS whine to 81-717 (Ezh3 still uses the old beep sound)
- Safety pedal (ARS emergency brake cancel pedal) has now both press and release sounds
- Pneumatic braking perfomance made more realistic (faster #1 and #2 valve application, slightly less pneumatic force)
- Fixed error where rheostat position 5 in parallel circuits mode wouldn't properly engage the KSH1/KSH2 relays to initiate magnetic field control in last four rheostat positions.

23 May 2014
- 81-717 train controller was rotated by 180 degrees.
- Reverser wrench rotates down for FORWARD instead of up in real train.
- Door indication lights were inverted (must glow when doors closed).
- Removed annoying "report bug" kind of messages that were retained from old metrostroi server
- Temporary fix for a missing section of the map near station 112

I have a problem. Every map in GMod is running smooth on my Computer, but this map is lagging. I tried to lower the graphics, but it didn't help. Can ypu help me to fix this problem?

It's probably the amount of trains you spawned. It happens to me too. Try again and see if thats the problem.

It's laggs as soon as I#m playing on this map. Even if there are no trains spawned.

Where's the map that does not have lag upload it if you do i like your addon & if you dont everyone wont interseted you.

I have a problem that no button works not even the Battery or horn none of the hotkeys either if you know why, please tell

bug report: i don't know why, but metrostroi for some reason breaks for me, in the sense that tracks don't have collisions as intended, have the wireframe texture as their texture, and a lot of other similar problems. is this a bug or does it just happen to me?
