Report a translation problem
(Example: Moms knife on angel room, dads lost coin appear on Treasure room Etc...)
(I know that i already write this but Now is this apropiate section xd)
- Mark of Cain: This thing seems quite bland, especially considering its basically a Soul of Lazarus with extra steps. The only problem is that I don't know what it should do in place of its current effect.
- Bless of the Dead: This is way too weak for a quality 4 drop that appears in Secret Rooms. This also competes with Black Candle, which doesn't rely on preventing curses for its other effects to work (black heart on pickup and increased deal chance).
- Tower of Babel: Needs a charge time buff or a rework, as its basically a Dad's Key with a bonus Hagalaz effect, especially since they're in the same item pool.
- DNA Redactor: This needs some sort of rework since the effects are either awful or straight up OP. I do like how it shows the effect though, that display's pretty cool.
- Magic Pen: I was gonna comment about how this should be called Magic Marker but it seems you've got that covered in the Notion page you guys posted a while back in the main comments. I'd also request for a change in the creep spawn or the effect as its currently laggy as heck with any tear ups.
- Zen Baby: Maybe could have reduced shot speed similar to Seraphim, as its basically the Godhead counterpart to Seraphim's Sacred Heart shots. I'm also seconding the idea to change the name to Cherubim to make it more fitting.
- Sinner's Heart: This is basically a copy-paste of Sacred Heart but for Devil Deals. The costume is fire though, I will admit that.
- Cheese Grater: In its current state, it's basically a worse Potato Peeler (spawning two Minisaacs instead of a Cube of Meat).
- Adam's Rib: I agree with the comment above mine in that the "revive as X character" effect is kind of bland, especially since Broken Ankh, Ankh, and Judas' Shadow, do this already, for better or worse.
- Angel's Crown: Maybe change the way the floor overlay applies to straight up be the Cathedral layout (like how Devil's crown does it preemptively, unless there's an API reason)? Also, would it be possible to add a light blueish item room door to match with the crimson red Devil's Crown door (just for aesthetics)?
I really don't like to sound like I'm ranting or hating on the mod, because I really like most of the stuff here, especially stuff like Quasar (and Quasar Shard by proxy), Reverse Joker, and the planned and already present Four Souls additions. I don't want to rush/push/force these changes upon you, so keep working at your own pace. I just felt there was some stuff I had to comment on while this still fantastic mod is in its infancy. I'll try to add some more ideas (as in what the items should do) when I think of them, but currently I've got none. Again, not trying to sound like a hater, just throwing out my thoughts and suggestions.
Also, the item is canon to the Bible :)
It's not designed to compete with BC, it's a counterpart of it and one more item that allows you to prevent curses. But yeah maybe you're right and it's quality will be reduced for balancing reasons (I completely forgot that BC increases your deal chance lmao)
Initially it was a 4-room recharge (which makes sense because 2(dad's key) + 2(hagalaz with clear rune) = 4), but then we thought of a rework, added the confusion effect and recharge time just couldn't stay the same. So here's a 6-room.
That's what this item is intended to be: pill's side effects should be just like normal pill effects, good or bad, but amplified. Although we did have a thought about making some effects (namely R Key) applying only to horse pills, again, for balancing reasons.
Will see how we can improve it.
Zen Baby's DPS was specifically tested and compared to one of Seraphim for different firerate values. It is about the same, so no changes are needed for now, in my opinion.
Having Minisaacs instead of Cube of Meat is compensated by a bigger dmg up and lower item quality. No changes are expected for this item right now.
Yes, it's just a simple revival trinket, we're okay with that, and you mayhaps should be too. Not everything we make is expected to be a super complicated thing. Plus, again, the trinket is canon to the Bible :)
I would really love to do that, but yeah, there are API reasons restraining me in that regard. So no fancy doors / floor overlays / icons on the minimap for now, sorry :(

I actually didn't know Cheese Grater gave a higher damage up, so my bad on that one.
For Mark of Cain and Adam's Rib, I may have been a bit harsh on those two, especially the latter. I know it's canon for both of these because I've wanted a Mark of Cain item for a while, but never had an idea on what it would actually do.
I also didn't know that Tower of Babel stunned/confused enemies.
Should've expected that. I'm no modder but I've heard that are a few issues with the API, especially with stuff detailing to custom sounds and rooms. We can only hope that the Repentance patch fixes some of those problems so they don't hurt the modding experience, especially on the developer side of things.
No problem. I want mods to grow for the better over time so that they are more enjoyable for everyone. I just found some things I had to bring up while playing/testing the mod out, that's all. Thanks for the kind words.
Isaac/The Broken (could work for either) - Unlimited Options "No more choices" (Choice based item pedestals (like the polaroid/negative, boss rush room, and most angel deals) no longer disappear when one is picked)
Bethany/The Zealot - can't think of a name, but a passive item that works like Tarot Cloth for runes and soul stones, improving their effects
Bethany/The Zealot (the one not corresponding to the above) - Blessing from the Stars "the heavens shine upon you" (I feel like a guaranteed Planetarium each floor is way too good, so maybe have a guaranteed Planetarium every other floor? Kinda like Keeper's Penny for planetariums)
Cain - Gilded Crown "Treasures everlasting" (Keeper's Penny but for item rooms, very creative I know)
Apollyon/The Empty - can't think of a name (I'm very bad at this step) but something along the lines of "items seen (but not taken) are voided automatically and give you stat ups"
I might come back here when I think of more but I hope these are at least considered in the future!
I don't really have a use for the document anymore, given you guys made something before I could put the concepts up on reddit (hardly complaining, this looks sick), so I figured I'd just chuck it here. If you guys like the concepts, take em at your leisure. I really enjoyed the creative challenge.

- Belly Fluff: increases the chance for room's to reward the player with trinkets. (Description: "Nothin' but Lint!")
- Glue Stick: allows the player to hold an additional trinket while this trinket is held. effect does not stack with other items which do the same. when gulped/smelted it allows the player to hold an additional trinket without taking up trinket space. (Description: "Tastes nice... and sticky.")
