A "camouflaged" chester that doesn't attract mob's attention ? with monster meat maybe ?
An independant chester that can follow you without you carrying the eye bone that would made using Deerclops's eye (several of them or one and other materials if that is possible ?) You could toggle him to follow you or wait by right clicking like on a lantern ?

add a heat warnmer chester to keep warn in the winter a orange chestter carries 10 by 5 storage and finally the yellow chester is the colour of the warnmer chester thxs.

Maybe a heat Chester, when you're near him he gives you insulation, by filling him with heat stones? Or a Chester you can farm things from, like fill him with birds to harvest feathers from him every 3-5 days.

Sanity Chester by filling him with Garlands. Or petals, but that would be far too easy.
