Not sure the exact cause.

Working solution 1 (from steam):
1) After new updates, if you don't see the mod, don't play the game.
2) Close the game, then go into Steam > Library > Ark > Workshop > Mod
3) Then Unsubscribe from the mod. (Steam should show changes happening in downloads bar)
4) Subscribe back to Mod.
5) Play the game and Mod should be back as well as mod items saved in the game.

Working solution 2 (from the webpage):
1) After new updates, if you don't see the mod, don't play the game.
2) Close the game, go to the Ark Workshop webpage > then Unsubscribe from the mod.
3) Run the ark but not the game and close the ark again.
4) Subscribe back to Mod.
5) Play the game and Mod should be back as well as mod items saved in the game.

Weird but it worked for me twice.

Also, all the changes needed was done with the last update (snaps polished).
