Total War: ROME II - Emperor Edition

Rome: Total War Music
The way this mod implements campaign music is not optimal
It's bugged. There are some tracks that are not supposed to play when you play as for example rome but play anyway. The music loops constantly, contrary to how it was in Rome 1 where there were periods with no music playing. And this is especially infuriating, for some reason divinitus, which is by far the best campaign soundtrack in rome 1, is by far the rarest played in this mod. I heart it like 4 or 5 in several hours of playing. It would be very nice if someone were to make a superior version of this mod.

"Details:

As you will notice in-game, while we do use the original tracks it is not possible in all cases to map the triggers directly to the corresponding triggers in R:TW. For example, Battle Marching music will start after the player presses the "Start Battle" button, instead of when giving their first move/attack order. The full list of tracks included is as follows: "

That might be the reason for some of your issues.

I hadn't asked that question. Answering a question that hasn't been asked seems pretty stupid to me.

let me make this easy for you:

your problem is that music doesnt work the way its supposed to
someones explains that the music triggers in this game dont work the same as in rome 1.
because the built in triggers in rome 2 dont work the same way as in rome 1 theres going to be problems, some potentially cant even be fixed

end result: youre a ♥♥♥♥♥♥

You still don't seem to understand that this is a kind of mini-review, not a bug report. Hilarious.

I'm not a modder so I couldn't do it myself but the way to solve this is to add a empty track where is just silence in between the actual tracks or in the tracks themselves.

Modding sound in R2 u need third party tools to edit all the dif event triggers. It's also very tedious work. For older games like R2 u also need specific versions of these tools. The tools that CA used are also not made by CA and a commercial product
Wwise [www.audiokinetic.com]

Recently there has been made some community tools with more limited functionality to the commercial tools used.

This mod is not perfect , and the author has stated this in description. So the OP's comment is redundant as anyone using this should have read this and already be aware of its shortcomings, the rant is not required.
