Using AAE makes my game lag spike every second

Can you record a clip comparison showing the change in FPS when you have AAE loaded or not?

Yea so it went from just AAE to the whole game yesterday, but it only happens when I am in the menu now. I looked up some things yesterday if it really matters im using a GeForce GTX 1080
