Varix 3 only supports the weapon kit weapons provided in the vanilla game
And I'm using weapons from the vanilla game. The M16 I mentioned is a vanilla game weapon, I used it on the Kino Der Toten DLC. Unless Black Market guns don't count as vanilla. Regardless, the glitch still persists on other weapons as well, I used the Man-O-War on Der Eisendrache just earlier, and same thing, the HUD PAP elements and name would vanish and the damage would get heavily nerfed from Epic tier, back to base unupgraded damage when using the 1x scope function.
But the M16 does appear and is fully customizable in the weapon kits menu? The Varix 3 scope was on that M16 because I put on there from the weapon kits menu. I apologize if I'm just not getting what you're meaning.
Regardless of that, I tested PAP on another map just now and with a certifiably "vanilla" gun. I used the ICR-1, and another oddity occurred. I played on the map Gorod Krovi, and when I spawned myself the ICR-1, I PAP'd it using the mod menu. This time, I did 300 less damage when using the scope in the 3x magnification. When I switched to 1x, the damage went up, being 1500 base and up to 1800 when I switched it. So now it's opposite. Yet ANOTHER oddity however, once I PAP'd it to Epic level, it did 1800 damage no matter the magnification. Although thinking about it now, I believe that was likely the max cap of the zombie health at that low round, showing the max health of the zombie and not my max possible damage, so it could very well still be out of sync for all I know.
Sounds good friend, sorry for all the hassle, I just didn't understand how this was happening. And yeah, just to be absolutely clear over what I've been talking about, I'll send screenshots. Notice the HUD elements around the ammo counter, as well as bullet damage difference between scope magnification levels.

As I said before, it's as if changing magnification nullifies the PAP level and such, so I hope this was clear enough LOL.
Gotcha, I'll give it a try then, I was thinking of joining the Discord anyways if I got no answers on here.
I'm still not completely sure what you mean by unofficial weapon kit weapons, I'm assuming you mean weapons that WEREN'T customizable prior to the AAE mod, but even still, I was using it on the HVK-30 vanilla game weapon, along with the previously mentioned Men-O-War and ICR-1 rifles, so those should've been fine at the very least.
Regardless of that stuff though, I appreciate all your replies and your time here man, I'm always thankful for dev replies.
