You should 100% try it and spread the word, HIDDEN GEM.
If you use SRTS, this is basically a MUST sub-mod, imho.

This Mods adds a "classic low/high fantasy AIRSHIP" to SRTS, much earlier/lower tech than other options (including any other SRTS mods I have found.).

Very effective SRTS addon successor to the function of the old mod "Boats"

Basically the idea of an ocean going vessel as an aircraft, via the "hot air balloon" method.

Featured in Final fan... ummm...a popular jrpg, and other sources.

Unlocked with a "medieval" 800 point cost tech
Upgraded to a max of 2 airships with a 2400 point cost tech also "medieval"

This is the earliest SRTS "craft", THEY RUN BY BURNING WOOD LOGS!

"Outlanders", "Vanilla factions expanded Vikings/Medieval/Settlers" will all use them, or at least have access to the tech's for them.

Unsure if traders, raiders or guests will arrive in them

PS: Hot air balloons are real, and can "be manoeuvred" (somewhat), airships are too...they are called "Dirigibles or Blimps", like the "Goodye...umm...popular tire co blimp".
