I Expect You To Escape (Redux)

Solution (no spoilers)
Escape the cage:
1. Grab the knife, use it on the crooked steel rod
2. Grab the steel rod, use it on the key outside
3. Use the key on the electricity box above you
4. Use the handcuffs to short the circuit box

Escape the prison room:
1. Turn on the computer.
2. Use the password on the yellow note (and press the confirm button).
3. Click both buttons to open the chests.
4. Grab the crowbar from tool chest.
5. Use crowbar on the panel next to the door.
6. Grab the tray from the food chest.
7. Use the tray on the door lasers.
8. Grab the mirror from the sink.
9. Use the mirror on the marked spot in the laser's path.
10. This should open the electric box. Open it, use it to turn off the lasers.
11. Look at the small map on the board.
12. The pins correspond to numbers on the keypad.
13. Use the admin password (13765) on the computer (log out first using the left arrow, make sure to unselect the previous password). Click the door button to reveal the door code.
14. Use the door code on the door panel (duh). Proceed to the rocket room.

Sabotage the rocket:
1. Turn on the power - set every valve and button to green. This activates the launch button.
2. There are 3 rows of red and green bars on the pane.
3. The first row corresponds to the power controls you just used.
4. The second and third row correspond to the blinking lights on the computers on the other side.
5. To set the code on the computer, use the yellow button to pause and restart the light sequence. Each sequence start from the left and switches each light. Start and stop at the right moments to achieve the sequence.

TIP: Just build the code from right to left, one by one.

6. If set correctly, a target map should open.
7. Remember that little map from the prison room?
8. Manipulate the hands, so the reticule points at the 'WE ARE HERE' location from the map in the prison room and press the 'LOCK' button. A 'NEW TARGET' message should appear.
9. The launch button should open.
10. Unlock it with the key that was next to the door to the room.
11. Press the button and watch through the window. YOU WIN!

Can you explain the admin password. I'm not seeing how I could have interpreted 13765. Is it just the various numbers I can sort of make out from the lines?

I feel like you could have lended a visual cue for the player as the dots are not even aligned in any grid pattern. Its difficult for the brain to make that connection as the pattern is not similar and therefore not related.

Maybe you're right. I added a suggestive wallpaper to the computer, maybe that'll help.
My thinking process was 'how would I note down this password so it's not instantly obvious that I'm noting down my password'? So I guess it worked in that regard.

I dont know if it is a Problem on your or the developer side, but the timed riddle in the launch room was seen different by me and my partner. while the solution was locked in my pov, his lights looked different and he couldnt see the map either.

add. info: i was the host, at least i invited him
the lights had different appearences on our POVs
map unlocked for me but not for him
i could, though launch the rocket

That's awful to hear. I just (hopefully) implemented a workaround, but I can't promise it'll fix everything. I wouldn't mind if you could test it out with your friend sometime.
I reported it to the developers too, seems like something worth taking a look at.

Yeah sadly didn't fix. I'm not the host and this is what I see: *SPOILER* https://i.imgur.com/vNlVykM.png

The map unlocked for me, but not my teammate. He had to do the codes himself.

Oh well, nothing I can do in that case unless I completely redesign the puzzle so the lights don't flicker automatically, I suppose the game doesn't synchronize the position of animated objects between players, just the 'something happened' actions. And with the delay being a factor here, it's not well suited for timing-based puzzles.

Same thing occured to me, but I was solo.

Are you sure you got the first part of the code right, the 'power' controls? Unless the locks are broken somehow, it shouldn't be possible for this part to bug out.

I agree with the comment about the admin password, even after reading the solution I do not think I ever would have gotten that. Also, the light codes with the pausing- the codes move too quickly and my second computer would never display the correct password. Had to quit.

Supe nice level! We didn´t get the solution with the tray, but managed to glitch through the lasers anyway :) In Multiplayer some riddles look different for each player, so it should be played solo for now i think. We managed to clear it anyway, it was just a bit harder that way. Great animations and use of the editor!

Hey just an fyi as of 1/15 the blinking lights on the machines against the wall still appear to be client sided or something. They appeared different to each person and then the map showed up only for the person who had it correct on their screen

I know, there's nothing I can do about it. I think I reported it as a bug, but unless the devs change/upgrade the network code, there's no way to fix it. Seems like any rhythm/timing-based puzzles will only ever be client-sided.
