Additionally, private offices for executives/CEO/directors.
And stairs to a basement floor, don't have to do an actual basement floor but if it implied an underground parking lot that could be nice.
I'd texture the floor in the stairwell and the stairs themselves with tiles, wooden stairs seems a little odd for an office building, even ignoring the lack of handrails.
If it was my map I'd also be tempted to add a skylight in the stairwell.
Finally an outside area that you can look out of the windows to, doesn't have to be that detailed and can be blocked off with player clip.
Your own ideas are pretty good!
I would add a window to the stairwell, but then i would have to add rails which is harder than you'd think because I'm very limited on my railing props and textures, but i COULD make a custom one with just normal brushes like how i made the microwave.
I think the office is a little small for an entire underground parking lot, but i might consider it.
I definitely will change the stairs texture. (Maybe not yet)
Private offices are a good idea, good chance i'll add them so that the shape of the building makes more sense.
I know what you mean about limited props and textures for railings, it's probably because the height of each floor you are using is not the Valve standard, but that is actually fine - I have made railing for a spiral staircase with only displacements and a vanilla texture that looks like it should not even be for stairs.
You have a point about the parking lot, maybe just have it something you can see when looking out of the windows.
These things are why I would like to work with you, I have done it before with a Dropbox shared folder, but if you don't trust me or whatever, just say so man.
Not true, I just can't figure out how to do anything else with it.
At some point i wanted to make an entire remake of the map, but don't count on it.
I didn't make a post about this when it was originally made, however I will tell anyone who might want to see more.
There is a sequel to gm_paperwork, as you can see here.
It is a completely new map built from the ground up, featuring a fully 3D building with an exterior and brand new layout. Have fun
