Possible alternative: Making it one solid unit (but will hurt the graphics significantly).
Edit 1: it allows the tunneling unit to go through, but other units still think that the cave is impassible
Please note that if you are meaning the spell, it has to be casted twice to create a proper tunnel.
The spell has 2 functions:
1) Turn non diggable into diggable
2) Turn diggable into 'open tunnel' that can be entered by every unit
To me it sounds like you only casted it once to convert undiggable into diggable and entered with a dwarf unit that is capable of digging a tunnel (while the other units were not able to tunnel). But ofcourse I can be mistaken.
Either way I will test it and adjust where needed.
Not immediately clearing diggable earth sometimes has benefits (for instance indies might not come so easily).
