Known issues
Current list of known issues for initial release:

- The door of some Mi8 skins does not work, the door remains functional it simply doesn't change visually.
- The Satellite radio volume while flying a heli might be low, haven't found a workaround for this yet.
- Helicopters that don't have separate doors are intended, it's part of a problem that lies in the 3d models themselves that require massive rework of them to put on par with the rest of models that do.

the aw101 back hatch/door you can walk through, and does not act as a walkway as one would think it might

Geometry can't be animated on vehicles, that will always be like that sadly. This a problem rooted in the engine hence why no vehicle ever had collisions on any sort of door, you can test this on vanilla vehicles, just open the door and you'll walk right through them.

The Apache(s) is/are bugged. No matter where you spawn it either from trader, an event, admin tool it will kill the player after starting the engine and getting ready to fly. The tail gets stuck to the ground.

Lower the multipliers for damage to vehicles and players to 0 on your vehiclesettings.json, that issue happens randomly when there's enough damage set specifically on helis that don't have wheels like the Apache. Not sure exactly why, already talked to the expansion devs about it cause it looks a very specific issue about the geometry on some vehicles.

Which Key system works the best with these helis due to the fact I cant find the hit box

Can confirm this even with setting set to 0 it does Kill(in god mode it take 1/4 life away) just by touching it whilst it first get stuck in the ground and your flipping it. Rear wheel sinks into the ground. Thank you for a great mod

ExpansionCarKey.

I haven't tested neither care about any other mod related to this, the entire mod is built from the ground up to use Expansion for borderline every feature, that is not changing ever.

Hmm it shouldn't, i'll check it out again just in case but it's been the only workaround so far to the collision issue. Wheels or specific geometry getting stuck like that is impossible to avoid, it's a problem of how collision of geometry works in the game sadly, it will happen if you don't land slowly, flip transport is the best way to get them unstuck. If i made that collision box bigger, you'll bump into it as a player or could potentially make the stuck problem worse.

Sorry for the quote on quote on quote but Flipping it with a wrench does not fix the issue. I have tried everything before sending the message here and this specific model is off somewhere but all other helis are perfectly fine so honestly your work is a 10/10 even if the apache is out of the table for now. Also, weird issue where the "Turn off heli engine" wont show up at landing. You need to go 1st and 3rd person for it to appear sometimes. Same issue with using auto-hover it will bug and you need to go 1st and 3rd to unbug it. So say if you are going up 3rd person, activate auto hover and press the down button it wont work. You will keep going up until it reaches the limit and die. To go down, you have to go 1st person again then press down it will reverse and go down.

I manage to unstick this heli on about 3rd wrench flip. My heli trader is on hard Tarmac and when bought it does not have this issue anymore. Takes off correctly with no rear wheel embedded in the ground. I does seem to 'sink' on grass etc..dont know if that causes the issue. Also the COT VS files are incorrect for the mi171(it has no door like mi8 but one is in the inventory) and mi24(6doors are in the file). I have the corrected ones but no where to upload to

I had the issue with the Apache where I would be killed when the engine was started. I Lowered the damage to 0 for vehicles and players in vehiclesettings.json as advised by Josecitox and this fixed the issue. No problems at all with the Apache now.

Just to update you guys, this issue will be fixed in the next expansion update which should be out in a few days, it's already out in experimental and my changes are working correctly. A small tweak was needed on both things for eveything to work.

Not sure if anyone else having issues but my server crashes on loading even if this mod is loaded alone or with the carcover and flip vehicle with expansion installed.

Your problem, all of that works fine for most people. You probably have some corrupted files or are hitting the scripting limit bug.
