[Bug Report] Mending causes undressing loop
After mending clothes on the mending workbench pawns enter a state of dressing and undressing. The clothes themselves are likely bugged after being mended, as no error is show in the logs. Removing the workbench/mending job doesnt not fix the issue, removing the mod does not fix the issue.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I have almost 300 mods installed, but i noticed that loop only with items that have been mended. My modlist didn't changed much since 1.4 and i remember that problem did not appeared back then.

UPDATE:
Following an advice someone suggested at https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/294100/discussions/0/4760955712498331654/ - disabling common sense mod helps with the issue and colonists no longer get stuck in endless undressing loop. Unfortunately this means that to resolve this soft incompatibility you need to choose between mending or CS mod features

I believe the issue is that the gear is showing as being repaired but it's actually not. I had this same issue when my pawns were set to only wear gear between 50-100%. They'd go and try to put on the 'mended' 100% gear (which was 49% previously), think it wasn't actually mended/at 100% and take it off again, over and over. I got a different mending mod and it works fine!

I got sick of pawns not hauling everything at once when they craft things and decided to try and enable Common Sense again but i disabled everything and enabled back only the options I wanted. I enabled 1st 5 options in Opportunistic jobs (every "Pawns are encouraged to..." option in that category), 3rd option in Advanced behaviours category, and last option in Miscellaneous. I've seen pawns equiping mended items and they did not took them off immediately, so i guess that some other option is responsible for that, but I am to lazy to try and find out which one exactly...

Anyways, you can try that workaround and check if that fixes the issue

Me and another user figured out that the problem was using VFE - Ancients for mending, any other mending mod works fine, but VFE - Ancients is broken.
Does anyone know if this issue has been fixed? The changelog mentions the repair bench in a couple places but it's not clear if this issue was addressed

it is still an issue, but turning off the "Enable a button in colonist's inventory to mark items for hauling to stockpile" setting for Common Sense fixed it for me
