the file size says 114.901 MB.... which is a bit extreme for a simple prop replacement... is the file size actually lower than it says it is?

I am guessing yes, but if it would be that big then I am guessing it's the sweet HD textures, although 114MB isn't that big. I've seen worse.

Every time I spawn in the yellowed computer monitor, tower, and keyboard it just disappears! No idea why, maybe a mistake in downloading?

Have you restarted your game when you download it?
