ok, so i dropped about 40ish coins into the machine so far and i am finding that the machine hits gold _much_ too often and when it does hit gold the payout is pretty exorbitant. my first roll on the slot gave me an enlightened crown. i've also rolled a chef's pouch twice(and was given three each time). i feel that the carrot payouts are really luxurious too but considering how much harder the skulls are that evens out pretty alright. gold payouts are way too frequent and the payout is pretty substantial. i have also noticed i am not getting the sanity drop from using the slots either from using or from being close by

i was excited when i won eel though!

if i could make a recommendation though; it would be better to have more consumables and less indestructible items to reduce clutter in a solo world

Your suggestions are noted; may I ask what coin drop rate you were running at? I designed it to have dubloons not super super duper common, so I am a bit surprised to hear you dropped 40 coins into the slot machine

There are 3 of some items repeated because it was intended to reward multiple players vs just a solo player, but I see your point

The sanity penalties are intentionally removed also, as slot machines are meant to be used c:

i actually had about 110ish but i stopped at 40ish. i had it set to normal difficulty with no environmental drops. to be fair though i play wes and keep pig friends with me when hounds roll around so there is a lot of murder going on during those times, i also have tallbird and spider farms that i visit a couple times every season

sorry x___x the place where i use mods is my solo worlds since i play those for fun and not to intentionally grind

You're okay; I've actually slightly nerfed some of the drop quantities in the last mod update (especially of nonstackable items), so you should notice *less*. Thank you for your feedback again, it was valuable and honestly spot on! I will continue testing as well, but I do like where the mod currently is. I may add more "nonvaluable" / "junk" drops to water down the loot tables, but I will think on it

thankyou<3 between your adjustments and setting the coin drop rate to 'hard' it felt a lot more authentic to solo in how frequently i could get coins and how much loot i could get for each visit. it might not be as generous as before but it _feels_ nicer to play

This mod is a dream come true, but would LOVE an option to disable coin drops from non-boss Mobs. As of right now I edit modmain.lua, but an in-game tick would just be... chef's kiss.

Edit: also options for the Shadow Manipulator shop would be sweet, but not huge.

Noted; I was actually going to publish a new update soon

When you say options for Shadow Manipulator also, what do you mean?

Referring to the "Dubloon Shop" accessible only from Shadow Manipulators. Personally it feels kinda of out-of-place with the rest of the mod so an option to enable/disable, or perhaps set it to only sell non-renewable resources would be nice. But again, not a big deal.

Edit: Just noticed the update holy crap dude this is actually perfect you are incredibly based <3
