I just tested no mods except Rimthreaded and Performance Optimizer together and it didn't crash or cause obvious problems, but I would say the barrage of red "The given key was not present in the dictionary." errors point towards this being on the 'don't use these together' side of things.

The holy grail of performance would be Rimthreaded compatible with every other optimization mod on workshop including normal mods, but it would require the effort of the entire modding community to accomplish such a project.

Until rimthreaded builds a framework for mods to build off from instead of being just a mod; we will just never see that happen to any extent.

For RimThreaded you need to disable Thing:AmbientTemperature and JobDriveR:CheckCurrentToilEndOrFail caches in mod settings. This is from my testing, with the information provided to Taranchuk, and it is in the mod description. Disabling both those settings fixed 100% of issues I could replicate with the two mods. I am unsure if that is still true per the latest update.

The last few updates of this mod change the compatibility, what specifically should be disabled? Because I don't see anywhere the "JobDriveR:CheckCurrentToilEndOrFail".
But after some testing : Deactivate :
- Plant:TickLong
- Precept-RoleMulti:RecacheActivity
- Precept-RoleSingle:RecacheActivity

Ya I haven't seen those options in either mod too. So not sure on where they are looking

This does work with this mod tho, correct? Had the game running fine, then it lagged hard and froze/force closed. Just asking

I get a crashing issue with this and rimthreadded, I tried using only those 2 mods and had the same issue

It completely works. Just use these settings:
Toggle all of these listed off:
Performance & misc. tweaks
Faster GetComp methods replacement
Cache HediffDef.PossibletoDevelopImmunityNaturally

Cache and throttle settings
ForbidUtility:IsForbidden
JobGiver_ConfigurableHostilityResponse:TryGiveJob
Pawn_InteractionsTracker:CurrentSocialMode
Plant:TickLong
Precept_RoleMultie:RecacheActivity
Precept_ROleSingle:RecacheActivity

In fact, this configuration works with SOS2+RT. But if you do not use these settings, it will crash.
