Needs updated
I'd like to have fun with this but its just too hard. losing everything alter you die is really really annoying and the game just turns into a race around the burning building every time. We should be able to change various things in the game like weapon prices and the ability to keep your armor and weapons after you die.

Keeping armor and weapons after you die is not a trivial thing to do in Kismet because after each respawn all weapons need to be reset. Otherwise you start with the weapons chosen in the pre-spawn menue. In the Sandcastle horde map you keep only secondary weapons, shields and the 400hp 'armor'.

I really disagree that the map needs that. But I'm a giant dink. I intended you to game over a lot, getting to keep your gear does nothing to help speed you towards your inevitable demise.

I should have updated this like a month and a half ago but I got sidetracked again, anyways once I get done the last few things I want before I can call this donezo, we'll see about adding some of Slyness' innovations. I may make a HordeLite version myself if I feel up to it, but I'll probably get the uncooked map uploaded somewhere either way.

bumping up the points you get would make things a lot better. usually what happens is that a group gets about 5 levels in and then any members just joining have a hard time surviving without points for gear. When things get crazy (which usually start pretty early on), people just run around the fire until the enemies just burn themselves the death.

I could compare this to TF2's mann up mode and in that game you get to keep your weapons, and even that is difficult to complete... I wouldnt mind if the game was really hard to win but would rather hold off on the insane difficulty until the last few stages. using the Zwei would be fun as hell against the hordes but not many have survived long enough to do so.
