No politic and no ideology!
I tried to make a more realistic mission as possible, to simulate the famous Normandy bocage with lot of bushes, with a more lively atmosphere by adding sounds, new textures, animals, to increase the gameplay (just compare it to the original missions!).

Everything I created in this mission is based on historical fights, and as i'm alone, keep in mind all that work took me a lot of my free time..

My goal is not political, and I don't glorify any ideology. I don't belong to any political organization, and I do not support the ideas of the Third Reich.

I just tried to transcribe the facts of the fighting in 1944: It is not possible to understand the history of the Second World War without reference to the Axis forces, and in particular the
SS divisions which every historians admited they were great fighters, and they were very present in Normandy, mostly against UK and Canadians around Caen..

To be accurate as possible, I made the German uniforms with their runes, the squads icons with real germans division shields, and you should know that most of the villages of France during World War 2 had a "kommandantur" (or at least one house with a German military presence) and had flags with Swastikas..
Concerning some voices like the "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥", it simply means "salute to victory" and was often used in elites units.

Like many players of this game, I love playing the German side, not for their ideology, but because being younger, I used to make models kits of all nations: my favourites were mostly the ww2 germans planes and tanks because their technology was often ahead of thoses of the allies ( remember if an human has set foot on the moon, it's is because the Nasa hired Wernher von Braun) and also i prefer the design of a Tiger or a Panther much more than a M4 Sherman or a T34 ;)

I like Men of War Assault Squad game because it gives me the impression of playing with my models kits inside a good strategy game which has also a good ballistic system (although it is not perfect because the dimensions of the maps are limited by the game engine).

If I spend much of my free time to create mods, 3d models and missions, it is only for the pleasure of sharing my passion with the gaming community without asking anything in return.

So a small comment, thanks or a little vote is welcome if you like my work, and, for those that mission could shock (or whose who don't like the Germans for any reasons), thank you to play another mod ..

@ Costarring:
I do not understand your eagerness, and you're the only one to criticize the content of this mission while many players thank me (even from Israel) and other modders welcome me.

You have no legitimacy to judge what is legal or illegal, then, when you will be able to make a mod like this one by yourself, maybe I can accept you to give me lessons.

This mission was originally created for MowAS1 and was announced both on DMS forums and Moddb on April 2012. DMS never made any comments on it's content and only asked me to not use swastika or runes for the screenshots of presentation of my missions, that I respected.

About Hitler Jugen"d" it was a typing error, and it will be changed in the next version. So stop your nasty sarcams and thanks to report this issue ;)

If nazi salute is prohibited in many countries, "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" (glory to victory) is simply the German translation of an expression that dates to Romans times, so i don't consider it's an offense to ear a German soldier saying that in a mission of a ww2 game..

Verify your sources: Von brown surender to the U.S.Army with his team by himself in May 1945, and he was free since 1947, long time before walking on the moon..

Now, I'm tired of your bad comments: If the content of this mod is a problem for you, write to Steam, or continues to complain and whine as you did on other forums ..

Maybe you're right (how long was he in jail? dates?), and even it's true, it was only during a very short period between 1945 and 1947, and it just confirmed what i wrote.

Anyway, it change absolutely nothing to what I said:Wernher von Braun was the main responsible of the first human step on the moon..
