I'm looking into it now. Might have to wait few hours since I don't have the required DLC for the remnant origin, so I'm gonna have a friend test for me.

No problem, thank you so much for looking into this

Just an update @guard15
I have the same thing as @joc4t20 where I spawn in the same location and changes to planets/names..
Also the AI always groups in the middle/top right galaxy even up to 61 empires.
No other mods and all DLC

Same starting origin?

Remnants - Spawn a random planet and system
Common Ground - 3rd Alliance Empire Dies after pause at start
Hegemon - 3rd Alliance Empire Dies after pause at start
Resource Consolidation - Immediate death at start
Life Seeded - Spawn a random planet and system
Post Apocalyptic - Spawn a random planet and system

These are a few I've tried so far

I tested the mod for my series, I used "On the Shoulders of Giants" which gives me a large event of finding a species that laid a gift in my starting system
ItzRaiden 14 Jan, 2022 @ 11:36am
I did it on 2000 star and I'm booting into 1000 to see if its map based

Edit: I loaded into 1000 and the same thing happened, so not sure whats up with that

I think I suspect what the problem might be. I'm gonna change and rework a few things in the mod and see what happens when I try to play it.

So my experience just me seeing how the spawns look. i just started and using the Hegemony origin and its funny. yes the 3rd member of your federation dies at the start but i seen 1-3 of the primary species of the 3rd member's empire on the 2nd members capital world. wait correction. other way around.
the 3rd member dies but they are found on the planet of the 2nd member funny thing is. The 2nd member homeworld seems to always be dominated by the 3rd member primary species while there are 1-3 of the 2nd member in high level worker jobs. a true hegemony planet. Haha. Sounds right to me.

Now another thing i notice was yes the spawns are always to the east for me right on the edge. But i'm not sure if its because i have Gigastuctures mod or something but i always see at least.... 2 or 5 mega structures near me. maybe one or two system jumps away. im not complaining.
Lastly. there is a chance with these federation origins where your member will get a very unlucky spawn and there homesytem is the space amoeba home system or whatever its call. i just watched them get immediately destroyed by multiple 1.2k fleet power of them. never had a chance.
Love the mod hope some things get fixed while some others stay or become its own mod. hegemony planet in a hegemony federation. Haha.

Now the part about the 2 mega-structures spawning in the same system is more of this mod trying to populate the starting resources of the game, and that includes mega-structures. It might be that the reason for it is there is already 1 instance of the game_start event being executed in on_action I think, and is therefore just doing a re-population of the same thing. Probably needs to removed and see if that fixes it. Now, hearing that there are 5 in one system is pretty new.

Oh no no no. i mean the mega strutures arnt far. like they are just a cluster of systems near my start. Sometimes next door, other time 2 systems away. Also the Ai tends to spawn in the galaxy im in first then a few spawn in others if there is no more room im guessing. Is that planned or thats how the game start spawns the Ai? Was hoping to to see one empire atleast in each of the galaxies. roleplay that whole "are we alone in the universe then i find another empire in the next galaxy to answer that. Well i only tested this on the 3000 sized star map.

Oh, so the starting locations are ordered based on first star that begins in an ordered pair. I.e. if the stars are listed in sequential order by numerical ID, then the fist system initializer is used first for player since they are considered empire 0.

Another note is that all of them should spawn once the map start. Spawn locations are static but empires are randomly on start. All empires should appear populating in every galaxy, even when observer mode is used or not. Unless I'm mistaken or something, there shouldn't be a problem as far as I'm aware.
