Stat Ideas
Just a little topic for stats of this weapon...for teh lulz,of course.
My idea:
On charged hit: Mini-crits for 3 seconds and +10% Speed Boost for 5 seconds after charge
+10% Bullet Resistance on wearer
-5% Max Health on wearer
-User takes mini-crit damage in water/midair

105% Laser resistance (Basically laser attacks heal you)
40% Bullet Rsistance
-15% charge distance

The Laser idea is very nice but i have a better one:
105% Laser Resistance
+15% Faster Charge
+5% health
If you hit the wall when you carge it takes damage like 15 hp or something

This is a really interesting shield... The laser resistance is interesting in that laser weaponry in TF2 is such a niche thing, and to counter the shield would be simply to use another weapon, since none of the classes with laser guns have full laser based load outs. But being healed from a Phlog, now that would be nutty.

However, I feel that if one were to play it safe and say, Bullet Resistance and Fire Resistance, it would still be a good weapon, even if it was very similiar to every other one. Nevermind what the charge mechanics do, bullet resistance would be good enough. And I mean a real hearty helping of bullet resistance, proper like what the Targe has, but maybe it can find a middle ground between that and the Screen depending on what it's charge does. Imagine a demoman with 40 or more bullet resistance. Then with the booties. Then with full eyelander. It'd be something. Two head shots, I think, and still kicking.

100% resistance to fire damage
immune to afterburn
75% resistance to laser weapons
marked for death for 5 secs after charge
crits for 5 secs after charge
20% less health

70% laser resistance (just protects you)
!00% afterburn immunity
65% bullet resitance

If you are in air or water you take double damage from any weapon

You know the charging since it is the FIREwall it could cause all damage on a charge hit to do mini crits and fire damage

75% Laser resistance
+15% Faster + longer charge
+10% Damage
-5% Speed
If you in water or you get jarated or milked you get shocked(Effect like bleeding)
If you kill someone with charge the person get lasered? i think,you know effect like Pomson 3000
+110% Laser Res
+Reloads 10% Faster
+10% Faster When Charging
-15% Bullet Weakness
-15% Fire Weakness


On Charge:
There is a Crit Effect around the wielder, exept a slightly dramatic. If anyone, friend or foe, comes close to the wielder, they get shocked, a effect not much unlike the stun. When stunned, you take 20-40 damage. If the Wielder comes into contact with water, they will be shocked and will die with a death animation, much like a like the death animation when killed by a laser. Anyone in a certain area in the water the wielder was shocked in will take 10-30 damage.

pros:
-deflects laser attacks
-on charge:absorbs all incoming damage and your next melee attack will deal damage equal to the damage absorbed and will gain 50 health on kill this way


cons:
-increases push force taken
-cannot be healed by medics on wearer
-increases melee damage taken by 20%

+75 to all resistances
