If you hit the wall when you carge it takes damage like 15 hp or something
However, I feel that if one were to play it safe and say, Bullet Resistance and Fire Resistance, it would still be a good weapon, even if it was very similiar to every other one. Nevermind what the charge mechanics do, bullet resistance would be good enough. And I mean a real hearty helping of bullet resistance, proper like what the Targe has, but maybe it can find a middle ground between that and the Screen depending on what it's charge does. Imagine a demoman with 40 or more bullet resistance. Then with the booties. Then with full eyelander. It'd be something. Two head shots, I think, and still kicking.

On Charge:
There is a Crit Effect around the wielder, exept a slightly dramatic. If anyone, friend or foe, comes close to the wielder, they get shocked, a effect not much unlike the stun. When stunned, you take 20-40 damage. If the Wielder comes into contact with water, they will be shocked and will die with a death animation, much like a like the death animation when killed by a laser. Anyone in a certain area in the water the wielder was shocked in will take 10-30 damage.
pros:
-deflects laser attacks
-on charge:absorbs all incoming damage and your next melee attack will deal damage equal to the damage absorbed and will gain 50 health on kill this way
cons:
-increases push force taken
-cannot be healed by medics on wearer
-increases melee damage taken by 20%
20% is too high
-effects like jarate and mad milk cause shield to short circut.
