Additional Information: Had slain Infinite spire's nightmare to unlock endless, game crashed at first encounter of the endless loop

Thanks for reporting this. I've reproduced the issue. The root of the problem is that Corrupt the Spire currently doesn't work with endless runs, and I believe the same bug would be hit in a few other scenarios (such as custom acts that go up to act 5 or higher). This is due to assumptions about what encounters are possible in each act and how the game tracks act number (for endless, it just keeps going up).

There's a few different things that need to be fixed to make this work properly, but unless something unexpected comes up I should have a new version up that fixes this in the next day or two.

hi modrago, that will be cool being able to play in endless mode.
ive seen your other mods and they look very nice too, its just that endless mode seem more appealing than vanilla (for me too at least), since it is always cool to try reaching as high as we can go (assuming that we survive the early game), and the mid/late games are still never the same :)

for example, when i was a pirate :)

Version 1.0.1 of the mod (just released) has fixes for a broad range of scenarios where acts work differently than normal, including compatibility with endless mode and Infinite Spire. Let me know if you see other issues with Corrupt the Spire and endless mode or Infinite Spire; there's a lot of stuff that's different in those modes, so I might have missed something.

Over a long enough endless run your Corruption will rise to previously unimaginable levels, and it stacks with the blights that increase enemy HP and damage, so you're in for a challenge. Good luck!
