Hiraeth - Dynasty Legacies Overhaul

Question about RICE, with an eye towards a compatibility mod
I've gotten a hodgepodge mix of mods together to sate my desire for CK3, my way. They even load properly! RICE and Hiraeth are included, but RICE has a pair of flavor packs with their own specialized dynasty legacies.

They need... adjusting.

Sus has the Trans-Saharan Trade legacy[docs.google.com] and Socotra has the Maritime Trade legacy[docs.google.com].

I'd like to ask your opinion on these legacies and how best to adapt them.

So far I am thinking:

The first unlock should require the dynasty head having used the 'once in a lifetime' trade event associated with the flavor pack.

The second unlock, much like stewardship's should require 1000 gold.

The third tier would be diplomacy/stewardship for the requirement and bonus lifestyle xp of Socotra, and stewardship/learning for Sus.

The fourth tier would be holding one of the special buildings associated with the legacies, or (in Sus' case) holding the Oasis county that the pack's flavor focuses around.

The fifth would be Legendary Prestige, as always.

My problem is the balance of the other bonuses. They should be relatively smaller than the other Hiraeth legacies, given RICE's increased support, but higher than base RICE to reflect the increased difficulty of acquisition.

Forgive the length and rambling nature of this post, it grows late. I'll probably write out the legacies, and the way you modified them in the morning, just to grapple with how to modify the RICE ones to be in line/compatible.

Trans-Saharan Trade Legacy
(each step increases AI honor by +10)

Ships of the Desert

+1 Stewardship
+1 Learning
Increases the chances of Trans-Saharan Merchants spawning (in Hiraeth fashion I would change this to actually show the percent increase)

Gold and Salt

+15% Domain Tax Same Faith (5% modifiers are never fun)
Reduced desert attrition (again changing this to show the reduction itself)
Unlocks decision to build the Sijilmasa Mints

Legacy of Syncretism

+25% Monthly Stewardship Lifestyle Experience
+25% Monthly Learning Lifestyle Experience
Unlocks decision to Network with Trans-Saharan Merchants

Fortified Oases

+10% Garrison Size
-50% Castle Holding Construction Cost
Unlocks decision to Wall Tafilalt Oasis in Sijilmasa

African Scholars

+1 Stewardship
+1 Learning
+4 Piety
Unlocks decision to Network with Trans-Saharan Merchants more than once


Maritime Trade Legacy
(each step increases AI greed by +10)

Eastern Patricians

+1 Stewardship
+1 Diplomacy
+10% Monthly Income

Cosmopolitan Ports

+100% Diplomatic Range (uniform with the Erudition increase)
+15 Different Culture Opinion
Can invest in Socotran Trade Goods more than once in a lifetime if you own Socotra

The Spice Must Flow

+25% Monthly Stewardship Lifestyle Experience
+25% Monthly Diplomacy Lifestyle Experience
Can take the Collaborate with Indian Ocean Pirates decision to build a Pirate Den if none exists yet

Distant Shores

+15 Different Faith Opinion
-50% City Holding Construction Cost
+100% Supply Capacity

Thalassocracy

@Aethos did you ever end up doing anything with this? Once Hiraeth is updated and my 1.11 patch is deprecated, I was going to look into making compatibility patches like these.
