Alright, so the minimum of a pack is 4 on each side i.e 4 ambient and 4 combat, the maximum (I found) was 9 i.e 9 ambient and 9 combat, so if you want to create a custom pack for yourself or to share with the world, you're going to want to have ambient songs as well.

When i try to upload my mod, its says "no files or invalied files"

This either means you haven't selected any files or you have invalid files (no ♥♥♥♥ sherlock) check to make sure none of your files are red in the third step of making your addon.

can you put an mp3 file in it?

Yes, the mod is entirely based around .mp3s... m4as, mp2s, wavs, flacs, aacs etc won't work.

You do need a special type of mp3, they have to have a bit rate 44KHz or below, 48KHz will not work
