Yeah, even if you only have the necessary addons enabled. It's been happening to quite a few people where it will be frozen or just outright crash, myself included. Don't keep your fingers crossed though, they've basically just told people to get better computers and that's about it :/
I'd say just get the VJbase one that came out the other day. It seems to work fine. I can't judge if it's better or not though since I literally cannot use this addon.

EDIT: I change my mind. Don't use the VJbase one. The creator is rude as hell.

No we tell them to "get new computers" or whatever you said because it works perfectly fine for us. If all of your errors don't happen to us developers, there is no way we can get it consistent enough to find a fix for it. Whynotboi's laptop is absolute ♥♥♥♥ and yet everything works perfectly fine for him.

I don't know what to tell you, maybe not have 5000 addons on at the same exact same time. And make sure you have everything correctly downloaded. When everything is downloaded, restart Garry's Mod.

I have jumped through hoops to try and use your addon. Uninstalled and reinstalled the addons/gmod, used only the addons required and nothing else as I've said repeatedly. I've had a cluttered selection of addons before but this is the first addon that has either been so poorly optimized or buggy that I straight up cannot use it by ITSELF, and my computer isn't bad by any stretch.
The fact that your team is passive aggressive doesn't help. I get that content creators like this need to deal with children and idiots all day, but jeez, we're trying to enjoy something you made here.

I genuinely hope you get the issues with your addon sorted out, because from what I've seen people say it's good, but when multiple people are coming around telling you the addon prevents loading and causes crashes when entering a map, you eventually need to find the cause instead of blaming them entirely.

Make a discussion post detailing common user issues that have been noted. It's not an instant fix but it can reduce the rate at which people rush to report the same issues they find

ok, one thing I did was remove a couple addons I wasn't using, and I could play the game, I just can't find these

To fix a problem Devs needs 1 of 2 things:

1-They need to have the same problem. So they can somehow fix it.
2-People need to give information about the problem so they can fix it.


But heavy addons are always like that. Even if its not about your pc Source have limits. And if you push that limit .You'll eventually get this kind of problems.
And that means unsub from some of your addons and be sure you downloaded all the required items. And there is no conflict mods.
