dont get me wrong your idea isn't bad but i think that "marked for death" is nerfing this too much. Pyro use melee quite often (especially axtinguisher / postal pummeler)
maybe it can be reskin for powerjack or other pyro melee that doesnt have one
Oh I see your point. I'm trying to main oyro but I don't use melee that often unless for a speed boost (Powerjack) or maybe to be a pyroshark (Neon Annihilnator) Maybe it could be this wepons stats but without the "marked for death" penalty, instead, it could just be a "This weapon deploys 75 slower" penalty, like the axtinguisher.
This is a very bad idea The pyro is a very squishy class in the game he has only a decent amount of health and has short range weapons (Acept if you count the flare guns and shotguns)
People would rather choose the Powerjack
