This change really hurt a lot of MP servers
This was an amazing mod for MP servers with tile protection on, to keep players from having to dismantle entire towns for base materials and it's counterpart kept players from having to destroy every car for parts.

220,000 people in 41 were still using this mod. Is there no way at all to keep the 41 version active and maybe make a different version for 42? Especially since 42 only has a few recipes in this mod that aren't in vanilla?

Yep, it's too much of a hassle to keep both version working in one MOD, will probably upload a separate one for B42 as the changes are very different.
