What if this was a secondary weapon for the engineer?
What would it's stats be if it were a secondary weapon for the engineer?
p.s Here's mine
+100 maxmetal on wearer, +3 HP regenerated per every 3 seconds on wearer, +50 sentry damage, 5 metal regenerated every second on wearer (this doesn't work in the respawn room or when you are being healed by a dispenser), +25 sentry fire rate
-25 HP on wearer, buildings are 2x their normal cost, -25 sentry radius (your sentry can only see 125 hammer units instead of 150)
EXTRA:Crafting Recipe
Three cozy campers,Buff Banner/Battalion's Backup, 3 reclaimed metal
There. You happy that I made the crafting recipe LESS expensive?
P.S This can't be gotten in drops because it could possibly be an achievement item or it could just only be available for a limited time to craft.
P.P.S I personally think it should buff your sentry because....well, hey, why not?
It could also give you the option to pick a sentry and dispenser replacement every time you join a server with it equipped.
Oh and fyi, all you need to do is equip a gunslinger to remove your hp and sentry radius downsides (Minisentries have 25% more radius then a normal sentry)

let me suggest stats:

>Engineer secondary.
>Regenerate 15 metal every 10 seconds.
>Gain fire vulnerability.

There. Simple, fits on a line, has a clear function: as a agressive forward engineer. it would work well with the Widowmaker and gunslinger. Drop a mini, shoot some guys, repeat as necesary.

So its the cozy camper for engie, NIiiiiice

I think the stats should be as follows:
+50 max metal on wearer
+1 metal rgene per second
+25 max health
-25% move speed on wearer

This would make the Engineer more efficent at making buildings and building a dedicated engi nest It could also be of use to an engineer using the widowmaker, as he will have a larger and more reliable supply of metal. Of course, the battle Engineer would have to have the gunslinger on hand aswell to make up for the health loss.
Of course, its obvious this has already been made to be a misc, not a weapon, so what we are coming up with here is a bit farfetched.

I think that we could at least lower the stats so it dosn't really sound too o.p.

stats 1 how about:

+25% max metal on wearer
+1% regan health on wearer
+3% metal regan on wearer
+25% faster construction rate
-25% all damage resistance

(recipe: cozy camper + battalion backup + 2 reclaimed metal = Lone Star Builders Backpack)

You have no idea how weapons work, plus this is a misc. NOT A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SECONDARY! Those stats are too OP anyways.

But the stats aren't chosen that well imo. I'd prefer this proposal:
