Sorta like the pip-boy?
This could be an actual thing were it changes your building/destroy hud only diffrence from them pip boy is that you can paint it to change hud color

Thats what i thought, but they might not add it if it occupies the PDA slot, and i don't think they're adding a workshop item that changes something in the screen like Pyrovision

I was thinking the exact same thing, I always thought it was weird that only 1 misc let you change your pda background, and while I'll never change from my good ol' fallout inspired pda, a paintable holographic version would be nice

Well, if you use Occulus Rift or simmilars you should be able to actually look at the screen... I guess.

What I'd like to see it's a holographic HUD, but that ain't going to happen any time soon.

Well, just a crazy idea but...
Heavy has an identical primary replacement, Snipers got a few rifle replacements, Soldier's got a primary replacement, and Spy's got a few knife replacements, not just the standard knife either.

Lets say they made this a PDA slot. It doesnt look like it'd interfere with any jackets/chest mods, immediately. Also, I haven't looked so I don't know if there are some already on the workshop, but why not pair this up with a sentry revamp? About time the sentry got some love damn it.

Some people with skillsz contact Jukebox and:
-make a simple transparent HUD that matches his design, for the player's normal HUD and the PDA.
-Change the PDA stance so the screen brightness or images change, instead of his hands going up.
-Sentry redo

This would sell for billions of buds. I'd pay.

The only class, to my knowledge, that doesn't have any replacement items is Medic.

Also a new Sentry would be pretty cool

If it remains a cosmetic, then it should be similar to the pipboy, but paintable to change pda color, and the color of the holograms to others will be the paint color, but closer to teamcolored holograms, or be teamcolored if unpainted, but if it turns into a PDA, have at it, I would love the engie to have more nonstock weps, especially a pda, since he has a slot for it, and so few non stocks compared to other classes
