Maybe a flatbread orientated recipe?
It's very simple to make flatbread of any type as long as you have flour and yeast, and water + oil. Then anything extra like sugar etc. during the process is fine. It's not the goal to raise and make a proper bread loaf so literally as long as it's a doughy substance it'll work - so that could fit for a "Rugged" recipe given how accessible it is.

Use a stove/oven or a griddle pan to finalize the product, after creating with the prior. Sub-recipes for flavour etc maybe like salted flatbread. Not sure how much hunger value you'd put for it; in real life it's quite filling because it's so dense.

I would love to see an expansion to the fermentation. In real life, lacto-fermentation only needs salt. The current kimchi could be a unique recipe but there should be simple recipes for each individual vegetable that is just the vegetable + salt + water

Cool! I'll look into that.

I'd really like to see this compatible with the wild fruits mod. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2618566294

Suggestion on jarring:
I do think jarring in the current game is under powered, but you lose some realism when you allow reusing jar lids. perhaps jar lids should be found in larger quantities like packs of 4, 8, or 12 and also found rarely on zombies that worked in supermarkets, and jarred vegetables should stay fresh for longer (like a year at room temp), that would balance it out.

you can make a mortar to pulverize fruits, can put the pulverize fuit into bowl with water to make a "tea" of fruit waiting x hours for them to mix,

Drik it make you happy and satisfies needs of water

or you can put it into a bottle instead of bowl idk is simple idea

Suggestion to add more meat sources for making Beef Jerky and/or Biltong for long term survival, such as Bird Meat, Rabbit Meat, Rodent Meat, Frog Meat.

Also would be nice to be able to smoke even already filleted fish!

hi the mod sounds cool :)
no suggestions yet but just fyi a few images on the main mod page seem to be missing/broken links.

(eg, pear, lime, mango and grapefruit)

Ah yeah, I gotta get around to that :D
wish we could make hot sauce to support our kimchi vices
also, i think the devs meant to pickle those veggies in jars... i may be wrong. but it's worth checking twice. the life span of the veggies in jars are extended to 90days methinks, so that's pickling. slows further when reffed and much more when frozen.

My only issue with the current jarred vegetables being "pickled" is that they pop out the other side as fresh vegetables. I am totally down with pickled vegetables, but they would be different IMO. I might just add pickled versions of all the vegetables. This mod is FAR from done :D

Also, home "canned" vegetables can last for a year or so. Canning and pickling are both great ways to store food.

ALSO HOW DID I FORGET PICKLED EGGS! I'm gonna add that hahahah.

Also, hot sauce. Yeah, I can do that.
woot!
