Crusader Kings II

Musica Mediaevalis Overhaul 1.0 [FINAL]

Development
So, after the comments and my own thoughts I understand exactly what I want to achieve from this mod.
As you know, CKII DLCs contain music, which is played by scripts, the same thing I want to do with my mod, in fact, replacing almost all the music. I already have all the content, it remains only to optimize the tracks for the required format and weight (so as to fit into the 400MB limit), as well as to write scripts in txt files.
Collection will not be compatible with mods that change the scripts (as in DLCs), but will work quite well with those that ONLY add music to the whole game. But the calculation is that putting this mod, with the expectation of quality, canonical medieval music without fantasy and some god forbid metal (I love metal, especially black metal and thrash metal, but the metal that is in this game - some kind of nonsense).
Completely finished mod will be released with the "1.0", meaning finished work, subsequent updates will be performed in the case of bugs or any inconsistencies.

with crusader's love,
andyvult♥

Great plan! And i agree, that's why the according music DLCs are not in my pocket, else i have all CK2 DLCs (almost, except the e-books).

Perfect would be your mod with regional tracks, as you mentioned. There are several such mods, example "viking music", which i used for my viking plays ... but now its your excellent music mod that took over, because that's superior to everything i tested in this matter.

Btw., myself a modder, and i relaunched my old (quite big, well before the Jade and Holy Fury DLCs came out, so no more compatible) CK2 realism gameplay mod (private only) a few weeks ago. Making it a lightweight realism gameplay mod now, but with enough significant changes that improve the gameplay considerably; based on last patch and all DLCs, in cooperation with several other compatible mod usages. Your music supports it to play and develop ;)

Well, that's it :diplomacy:

The concept of the mod is implemented. I would love to expand this collection, but in CKII there is a limit on the weight of the mod (400MB). If suddenly this limit is expanded, then I will add new tracks, but in the meantime, I'll keep an eye on your messages in case of bugs and release fixes as needed.

With great love ♥
