Mod compatibility & information for modders
Compatible mods
- ZOFE
- ACOT
- Gigastructures
- NSC (works, but DS shipsets have not all the new sections or shipclasses)
- ...everything else

Incompatible mods
No reports/issues with other mods are known at the moment.
If you find a problem, tell me or the creator of the other mod to fix the issue.

Possible bugs/problems:
Some other mods might change basic game mechanics, balance or game rules.
DS is not made to be compatible with them. I fixed already multiple of mod conflicts.

Important for other modders
- no "definitions" or "game_rules" are changed in DS
- it overwrites the following files:

(1) orbital_bombardment_effects (gfx/models/planets/_planetary_entities.asset)
- to add a visible effect for the Exterminatus bombardment stance
- this bombardment stance also uses flags like "exterminatus"

(2) action_improve_relation (common/diplomatic_actions)
- adds some diplo for the Nomad empire origin. Used for its "SP"-setup, documentation can be read in the other topics.

(3) ap_become_the_crisis (common/ascension_perks)
- to block some new perks/empires from using it

Global flag:
At gamestart an event will fire to set the global flag "darkspace_installed", in case any other mod needs to check something.

Hmm, doesn't seem like I can infect modded planets with the hivemoons. I'm using planetary diversity.

Edit: I can't seem to infect a habitat either, I'm not sure what targets it does work on.

I tested it, works on vanilla planets, but no modded planets at all. It makes sense it doesn't work on habitats after I've seen the effect.

@Ketrai I didnt have enough time because I made all the changes above in nearly one day after work.I want to add it either today or tomorrow (will be a second weapon the player can choose.

And Ill take a look into PlanetDiversity to add some of them.

You can probably just ask the maker of planetary diversity how they make vanilla collosus weapons able to target the planets they've added. Save some time. Also. Take your time! There's no need to rush out updates, you just might burn yourself out that way.

works fine as far as i can tell. the aeternum are just standing there ... menacingly. slightly alters the hyperlanes leading in there to spawn a couple archaeology sites but thats it

Its mainly for coming features and the existing origins that let you start in an own star cluster outside of the galaxy (DS has 4 of them).

I get that, but Giga uses the core for a mega-structure. So, what was your soloition?

Hello, Spectrals can only colonize their starting world or the Cores (for some balance). Thanks for the report though, maybe you could tell me which artificial planets ACOT has?, so I can adjust it for other things in the mod.
