Garry's Mod

C4 for DarkRP (Works with sandbox too!) (FIXED)
The bomb for sandbox or other gamemodes
I sent you a request also if you wouldn't mind that'd be great. I don't know how complex it'd be to make the defusal process take 3-5 seconds. As for functionality I'm not sure how it'd work per say. I'd suggest kind of how global offense or counter strike source works. Emitting the defusal kit I think there would be no need for that. I don't know how this process would work with your already defusal process. I like doing events that do team death match or CSS like game play on garry's mod.

Now, I don't expect you originally intended your addon to be used in that manor but I have found your c4 has a much longer time than most other addons and actually allows for the bomb to be dismantled. The only odd thing I have noticed about the defusal process for your addon is it is very RNG. You can instantly die defusing it or you defuse it instantly. The instant defusal adds no counter play for people who wish to use it for DM / TDM purposes. Realisticly it's impossible to protect a bomb for 2-10 minutes without somebody able to just press E before they die without having to wait a couple seconds.

I also note the defusal process can be very RNG when you click it. As previously noted you may instantly die when defusing it for no reason (cut the wrong wire) It's very comical that this functionality is in there. I like that idea that the addon is capable of that. I do note the bomb is probably for a different game mode so the instant defusal and RNG killing may be more compatible for those settings; however, those who intend to use the addon for other purposes are left high and dry despite your c4 being one of the better functioning in terms of time / defusal. I do understand that you may not have intended people to use it outside of DarkRP or perhaps if I had that it may function differently. I'm not entirely sure.

It would be nice to see support for people who wish to DM / TDM / play kind a gamemode kind of like counter strike. All they would need is your addon to support a defusal process that could be turned on via command if you would like to allocate time or add a function that lets people adjust the defusal time based on X amount of seconds. 0 being instant, 1 being 1 seconds. ETC. Or allowing the chance of bomb blowing up to be turned off via command as well. c4cutwrongwire 1 would function with the half chance and c4cutwrongwire = 0 would function as no RNG blow up. (example)

I'd appreciate it at least I'm not sure how others would exactly, so perhaps making this would only please a small amount of people who actually like to DM / TDM. Garry's mod is a relatively cheap game especially when it goes on sale and I love how diverse the game is. There is so much that can be done and it's worth every penny and I believe your addon would sway those who like games such as CSS, CSGO to be encourged to play a gamemode like that on Garry's mod. I haven't searched for addons like it as of yet. Mostly I've played Murder and Prop hunting as of which has been very very fun but I also like to host scrims with my friends and it can be very fun to be building one moment and then cssing on garry's mod the next. Or any form of dming.

I may be sugggesting a change in your original direction, so If it does not interest you that is fine. I personally haven't seen a decent functioning c4 aside from your current one with a nice time gap for people to defuse it. I also haven't found a c4 that allows counter play by allowing defusal or defusal times. It would be nice for gamemodes! There may be some out there perhaps I haven't come across them for some odd reason even though i searched endlessly and was disappointed by a lot of others up until I found your addon, which really peaked my interest.

I know it's your add on and you don't need to change anything as you have used it for your own server but it'd be nice to see your addon used on a lot of other servers who don't just use darkrp my 2 cents at least since it is one of the best c4's I've come across.
