Suggestion o/
I have a series of complex suggestions piggybacking on your road-map "Not a Cure" option that could either fit into this, or perhaps a separate mod to harmonise with it?

- Make it so there's a second type of "cure" you can find, an early version of the chemical compound that postpones zombification. Moreover, it able to find the research papers to create this "simple" compound, but the catch is that you essentially need to take a dose daily, like a disease that can't be cured but can be managed with medication for the rest of your life.

- The longer you go by taking this daily dose of the compound, the more your body begins to adjust to zombification but rather than ignoring it or curing it, it starts mixing with your DNA, which makes it so your character starts developing permanent "symptoms/traits" over time, such as:
-- Short Temper: Shout loudly when your character fails an action, trips, gets wounded, etc.
-- Savage Hunger: The longer you go without eating, the more tired and easily exhausted you get, however your hunger gives you a nice boost to strength.
-- Unrecognizable: If you let your hunter go low enough, and you go one or two days without your daily dose of medication, you may be extremely tired, exhausted, nearly dead.. which also starts making you look and behave more and more like a zombie, which in turn sort of camouflages you from them as long as you're not right up in their face.

- Make your own actually effective cure, but this will take a long time and it'll be a long adventure as you will have to scour the offices of every hospital, clinic and even their houses for scraps of research; the best doctors in town were in on it too, they are the ones who helped develop this, and you may find some of their research fragments, from the doctor's house in Muldraugh, to a hospital in Louisville, to a room in the "secret military base" to the west of Rosewood.

I'm just fantasising here :P

More realistically easier-to-implement suggestions xD

- Increase the spawn chance for the cure-carrying zombie in the back room of the "secret" military base where there's a big elevator. The elevator would indicate it leads to a mysterious basement, but since there are no basements, it leads nowhere. Still, the zombie could have taken the elevator and roams around it xD

- Make it so the cure needs to be refrigerated to stay fresh and effective, however the "decomposition" rate would be slower than things like food to make up for the fact you may find it somewhere far away xD. If the "cure"/dose/vial remains unrefrigerated for too long, the chemical inside the vial would just turn into the straight up virus swirling around inside it, immediately infecting anyone silly enough to ingest it/inject it.

Suggestion.
1. Keep the Vial - Rename the Mod- Zomboxivir Antiviral -They Knew ( people dont know what it is until reading it)
2. Make it more difficult to find.
3. The side effects should be included fatigue, panic, food water exhaution to max and bleeding exchange for this.

Could make a second option for the mod where it works akin to Zombrex from Dead Rising. (Once you are infected you have to keep taking it so you don't turn)

Suggestion: A starting occupation to begin as one of the agents and have the hazmat suit as well as the satchel. Maybe some points to aiming-reloading + first aid.
Starting with one dose of cure is maybe OP but just the items would be neat, mainly for rp purposes.
