It just works!
So, I finally got the chance to use this mod. And damn, it straight up works, no Importing, can just throw this in a save and it works just fine! Even with the NWDM Patch.
Next, you could probably add https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1649391281 to the list, also a pretty popular weapons mod.

Now for some suggestions.

It is in the early stages, so I am not calling you out on anything here, just giving my opinion on how to improve the mod and have more people use it.
At this stage, it is a bit "cheaty", as there is no extra cost and you can use a trash tier weapon to unlock the crafting of that said weapon. In my opinion, there should be either additional cost (like, some books, engineering research or maybe even AI cores, depending on how good the weapon is. I would say a baseline of Engineering research would be already pretty nice). Or, if possible, maybe you need some specific grade+, like at least a Mk1+ weapon, I have no idea if that is possible, tho.

Outside of that, honestly, all this mod needs now, is patches for all popular weapon mods. I can't begin to tell you how happy I am that now I can just research regular bolts, for example. I spent some 15 in-game days now, trying to find research for it, all across the map, with no luck. So now, I can finally do that.

Thanks again for the amazing mod! It is a must have for me now.

I'm glad you like it and thank you for the feedback, it's much appreciated.

I was thinking about making the reverse engineering tech be repeatable, with better weapons being behind different stages of it. Or maybe make the RE tech require an engineering research item or two (or more). I'd like to do this but it is TBD for now.
