Hints and solutions
Metal area

1. You can find the Metal pieces on the template (no. 1); in the corner under metals (no. 3); in the clock (no. 4); and in the bottom drawer of the cabinet (no. 2).
2. To open the bottom drawer of the cabinet, you need the key in the box. The password of the box is related to the hint on the left side of the cabinet, which indicate the numbers are the counts of checkers in the second drawer, the counts of cup on the surface, and the counts of the yellow circles on the painting.
3. The password is 348.
4. Put the Metal pieces by order from left to right.

Wood area
1. You can find a key in the first drawer in the Metal area, use this key to open the cabinet on the wall, then you get a wood tray and a wood cube.
2. The figure on the wall is corresponding to the carpet on the ground, put four wood cubes on their locations, then the next puzzle will be unlocked.
3. Put the wood cubes in order by their heights.
4. The password of the box on the wall is the location numbers corresponding to the symbols on wood cubes with different heights.
5. The password is 7326.

Water area & Fire area
1. Put the wood tray on the template on the table, the wall between water and fire will be unlocked.
2. Switch the lever on the wall, remember the order of the SWNE. The numbers correspond to SWNE is the password of the box.
3. The password is 5183.
4. Put the fire connector on the correct location, then switch the lever to put all points on fire.
5. The fired figure on the wall shows the hint to open the red-circle box. The numbers are the directional fire points number (4), the big fire point number (1), the number of the fire point on the wall (1), the number of fire points except the directional ones, the big one, and the one on the wall (7). So the password is 4117.
6. You can get a L-shaped pipe and put it on the pipe in the water area. Then the water will come out to the tray.
7. You can find a wood chunk in the wood area, put it into the stove over the fire basket, then you will get a carbon chunk.
8. Put the carbon chunk into the water of the wood tray, you can get the Ink head and a key. This key can be used to open the box of the red gem.
9. You can find a brush in the fire area, a rope on the shelf in the water area, and a wood stick in the wood area. With the Ink head, assemble them together, you can get a lengthened brush. Use this brush to write the stroke orders on the ceiling of the water area, then you can get the key to open the box of the blue gem.
10. Put the blue gem left and red gem right on the wall of the fire area, the wall will be unlocked.

Earth area
1. Switch the button in the corner, two walls will be unlocked.
2. You can find a bright yellow jar in the metal area and a red jar in the fire area, put them on the locations of the platforms in the earth area, the platforms will rise.
3. Stand on the position indicated by the inverted triangle on the You are standing here, face to the platforms. The number above each jar is the number for each jar.
4. So the numbers are: yellow-1, orange-5, blue-2, red-8, brown-3.
5. Then compute those numbers following the hints on the box, you can get the password, which is 1+5*2*8*3=241.

Final puzzle
This puzzle requires an 8-digits password.
You can use the lock piece to open the white cabinet in the metal area to get the hint. On the hint, there are 4 ‘+’, it means it requires 4 sets of numbers to plus.
The explanations of the hint are:
1. The room shape is a shape of Zhong.
2. The previous related hints are the hints of five elements, which are written on the red background. The hints written on black background are not related hints.
3. The first start point is the Metal, based on the stroke orders of the Zhong, the first end point is Wood, so the first 2-digits are the number in the metal area (47) plus the number in the wood area (29), =76.
4. Similarly, the second start point is the Metal, the second end point is the Water, so the next 2-digits are 47+37=84.
5. Then the start point is the Wood, the end point is the Water, the next 2-digits are 29+37=66.
6. Finally, the start point is the Earth, the end point is the password side, whose number is 10. The final 2-digits are 59+10=69.
7. The 8-digits password is 76846669.
8. Set the password and the lock will open. You can get the ‘treasured and rare pile’.
9. Put the pile on the groove, the wall will be unlocked, and this room is solved.
