Bugs and Issues
If you encounter any bugs or issues with this mod, please let me know and I'll do what I can to resolve it. Currently, there shouldn't be any bugs or issues with this mod.

However, if you have other tweak mods that affect values with mods (Like Paw Low, SWAT Pack and Madax Spawn and Balance Rework) it may affect bags and backpacks within those mods. This is an example that I am not able to fix.

Does not seem to work in multiplayr
PenguBlue  [developer] 28 May, 2023 @ 9:03am
Multiplayer might work now. I have not been able to test on that front. However, with this new version, from my understanding of the PZ modding documentation this should hopefully work on a multiplayer server. If anyone can confirm if it does or not it'd be greatly appreciated. I'll look into it more as I can regardless.

June 1st - Bags don't seem to be having their values changed.

Issue: Some players are having issues where this mod doesn't seem to be changing containers anymore.

Current known workings: So far, it would seem that the file "IPC_Modded_Edition_Tweaks.lua" is being written to, however it's also possible that upon uploading the new version of my mod that this file is just the contents that I had already worked with.

Testing: I will be testing multiple things including if an antivirus may be affecting the mod due to one of the functions that is apart of the PZ Modding API. This function is called "getModFileWrite()" where as the name suggest, it should write stuff to a file. Due to my current limited understanding of this function and the API in general there may be an issue with it working from the steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\ where as my version of the mod is located in \users\username\Zomboid\Workshop\ due to how uploading and creating mods for PZ works. I will see if removing that from my user area and trying the downloaded version will have the same issues for me as well.

Fixes: At this time there is no current fix. One temporary solutions for players who still want to use the mod is to disable the file in "media\lua\shared\" by typing ".disabled" after it after having ran the game at least once so that there should be all wanted content in the "IPC_Modded_edition_Tweakes.lua" file. Of course, this may not work if writing is being blocked. If this is indeed the case, I will post a paste bin link with the most popular mods currently available including base game items so that users can just copy it all, paste it into the tweaks file and hopefully be able to continue playing for the time being with this mod.

I apologise for any and all inconveniences this may have caused players currently and I hope to resolve this as soon as possible.

Your suggestion above (disable the file in "media/lua/shared" worked for me. I did that, restarted a new game, and the seed bag and fanny pack I found so far are both IPC. Thank you for the help; if anything else occurs I will post it here.

So far I've only been able to get it to work if Item Tweaker is loaded before this mod (ideally even putting this mod at the bottom of the load list) which requires the Mod Manager mod. Still looking into it more but so far that seems to be what makes it work

If anyone is having issues with the mod not working, there are currently two options. The first one which is what I'd recommend and may become the necessary way to make sure the mod works is 1) Using the Mod Manager mod, put Item tweaker API At the top of the load order and this mod below it, or even at the very bottom of the mod list.

The second option is 2) After loading the game at least once with this mod enabled, disable (by typing .disabled after the .lua extension) or delete the file in the /media/shared/ folder.

I'm still testing things out however I will be out of town for a week starting Sunday and due to this will not be able to work on a fix during that time.

Hi PenguBlue; I have once again seemingly broken the IPC mod, which I love. I have tried resetting everything, verifying files, deleting/renaming the .lua and nothing seems to work. the IPC_Modded_Edition_Tweaks.lua updates every time now, and checking the contents shows all the bags listed. When I start a new game or load an old one, new bags no longer have the updated retention. The Item Tweaker is at the top and the IPC mod is at the bottom; any other suggestions perhaps? I even reloaded the mods from a save file a week or so ago when I knew it did work and same result.

Hmm, very odd. I'm not sure what else to try at the moment but I will look into it more tomorrow as I should have some free time then. Unfortunately since I got back I've been pretty busy and haven't really had a chance to work on this since my last update so I'll see if I can come up with a quick fix at least
PenguBlue  [developer] 2 Jul, 2023 @ 8:04am
I've updated the mod and hopefully fixed it, testing is still required.

I've been working on the mod still and can't figure out why a handful of mods still do not work even though they show up in the tweak list. Still looking into it but hopefully the larger mods/majority of mods people are using are working correctly

These issues should now be fixed with the latest update! ItemTweaker has been completely removed and this mod now uses base functions available with the PZ Modding API.
