Thanks for the mod!

Can each side display a different picture? There are a lot of these pillows with 'before' & 'after' pictures, or 'dressed' vs 'less dressed'.

Also, since there are so many options out there, is it possible to include instructions to add your own pictures to the existing mod folder?

So all pillows are already double sided but I currently don't know of a way to change which side is displayed when placed in the world. When you are holding it or wearing it as armor you can see both sides.

Also a great idea. I'm not very experienced with modding so I'm not really sure how I can open it up to people so they can make addon mods but I will be looking into it!

Might be possible by creating 2 versions of the same pillow, for the purposes of placing 'in-world'.

Similar to how 100 nails can become a box of nails, then reopened to become 100 nails again.

Recipe: 'Pillow 1 - Front' > 'Pillow 1 - Back'

It doesn't necessarily even need to be listed in the crafting menu. It could be listed only via right-click context menu, similar to choosing to wear a hat forward or backwards via the inventory, except this would be holding the pillow forwards vs. backwards.

Yea, gave me the same suggestion and in theory I see no reason why it wouldn't work but When I tried it I just spawned in the same direction. On top of that this mod is already pretty much a ton of the same item in with different textures and my code is unorganized AF so before I do anything else I think I need to take the time to really reorganzie my stuff.

maybe can be like a inventory option with a flip action to place it to ur desired side

I had tried this and couldn't seem to get it to work. I had added a duplicate of the model and had it use the same texture as the original but made the 3d model oriendtation show the opposite side on the top yet when I would spawn it in it was still the exact same.

Plus this method would require me to basically make a duplicate version of each texture varient just for a "flipped" version which I think is pretty excessive for something that already requries duplicate versions of the same thing as it is since weapons can't have alternate textures without it being a completely new item in game.

Is there a way for both the Dakimakura and Magazines to spawn in different areas? like the H Mags to Magazines Shelfs in Stores with Books and Dakis with other pillows and beds?

It's possible but I chose not to do that simply because I like to try and maintain a good balence between goofiness while still keeping the regular tone of the game. That's also why I made them rare despite them being pretty worthless as weapons. Realistically speaking I don't think any stores in kentucky would be selling hentai magazines or anime body pillows but I could totally see a few now deceased weebs owning them.

I recently released a template for anyone who wants to make their own addon mod for different pillows so maybe at a later point I will build upon that and also make it so you can tweak how the spawning on them works. I don't particularly understand how the coding on all that works tho so it might take some time. Otherwise if you want to look at the guts of the mod itself and tinker with it I have no issue with anyone reuploading it so long as you give credit.
