Not something i can reasonably fix, Try repositioning the emplacement? it should work with some trial & error

sometimes, the soldier will hold the handle with his left hand and the right hand will float like in the screenshot

The single-gripping stuff is just a problem with the animation itself, they're stored in the models valve made themselves.
It even happens with the default turrets, not at all something i can solve.

Hey so currently when rebels use the emplacement against most non human enemies they cant hit them properly.

For example when shooting hunters and antlion guards they will shoot between their feet, then for manhacks and zombie torsos they shoot slightly above them.

ayo this console error appears when I attempt to use emplacement
[NPC Manned Emplacement] lua/entities/npc_manned_emplacement.lua:183: Calling net.Start with unpooled message name! (Did you forget to call util.AddNetworkString serverside?)

@vcf55 Fixed.
Not sure if it's a bug, intended behaviour, or a mod conflict, but when using this turret yourself you continue to use whatever weapon you have equipped, meaning you can fire the emplacement and another gun or end up physgunning the emplacement
