Mingebags (incredibly smart) (still works)
proof that these guys are players
I had a mingebag in my game, and I was being swarmed by zombies. I got startled by the beam, and he tried to help me, but there was just too much. Then, he tried to kill me, luckily I had godmode on since I was kinda just killin zombies and all.

Suddenly, he comes up to me and tries to kill me. I fly away and say 'i have budha on you dumbo' then he starts coughing. Me knowing this, I say 'knew you were gonna do that my guy', then for funnies I say, 'wanna have a spamming contest?' he didn't do anything. I spammed cough.

A few more minutes of killing zombies, and I say 'hey wanna see my art?', then I draw a pee-pee on the wall. He looks at it and goes in and out from it, then looks at me. He then kills a zombie and explodes, leaving. He spawned crates in before he left.

When it all ended, I said 'rip my guy', 'you were epic'. That's when I wrote this.

All in all, stop killing them. They can be your bros. They can be your random 'light to the darkroom'.

I believe it is a complex network, where all players are “connected” using a hidden webserver and their actions are copied across for all clients, or other “mingebags” connected to the webserver

the reason that they appear on certain maps more often is because that IS the map that people with the mingebag addon are more likely to join, since the 2 or more clients would also have the addon mounted

tldr: its basically simplified multiplayer

Funny enough, you are exactly right. I watched a video on how the addon connects players to a lobby, then connects them to each other.
