I like the flavor of Great Prophet points from Theater Square and Campus buildings, but I'm a bit skeptical how that plays out unless you start the game at a later era. If your game plan is to compete for a good religion, Theater Square and Universities are way too late. Campuses are early enough, but unless you build a Holy Site in addition, you lock yourself out of using the Great Prophet or doing Holy Site projects to rush GP points. If your game plan is to passively get a late religion while investing in other things, this seems like a worse version of Saladin's ability to guarantee the last Great Prophet.

My suggestion would be:
* Remove GP points from Theater Square buildings
* Add GP point to Campus district itself and to Campus project (could flavorfully rename the Campus and associated project)
* Allow this civ to use GP at a Campus, and if so the city becomes a Holy City and that Campus generates Holy City tourism and religious pressure

That way you can actually open Campus INSTEAD of Holy Site and still compete for a religion. You might still want Holy Sites later to make use of the religious beliefs.

Dear @Shevvek,

I am aware of the highly competitive nature of religion, which is why I balance my historic civilizations according to my Civ VI Deluxe mod, it adds a very large selection of pantheons and religious beliefs while also increasing the maximum amount of religions according to map size. In hindsight, always playing modded has numbed my senses to the natural competitiveness of Great Prophets in the game. I think I will give Salome Alexandra a new trait featuring a city project, this you have inspired in me. As for triggering a Prophet on a Campus, I will consider that for a new civilization in the future.

Did you have fun while playing?

Best Regards,
Strudeler

Out of the 3 Israel/Judea civilisations, this one I hold much closer to heart as it was the first and also represents Judea at it's greatest extent under the Hasmonean Dynasty. However I do think it deserves a new update with consideration how detailed and extensive Romano-Judea and 'Bibi' Israel are. Now I am aware the mod is catered to be played with your other main Deluxe mod, but I would love to see it be fit well into the Vanilla Civ experience as well with my suggestions if they do help in any way.

My suggestions:

* Changing the spawn Bias to focus more on Plains and Plains hills terrain, similar to Herod's Judea, as it will bring more production tiles options for the civilisation.

* I don't find the +1 Gold on Pastures and farms much use, however if that could be replaced with +1 Production, it would significantly improve the game play in my opinion.

* Changing the capital building to look the same on the Phoenicians use (same model as Herod and Bibi use for theres, because lets be honest, aesthetics matter and resembles the look of the 2nd Temple)

* I am a bit conflicted with the Maccabees unit, as it is only purchased through faith but also has its unique promotion tree, I will be honest I have not had much use of it due to the nature of how my games go, I feel like the better change for it is to make it replace the Swordsman, however make it require no Iron as a resource, have it remain with the standard promotion tree as other melee units of it's kind. Otherwise, the ability to be bought with faith is neat and its additional combat near campuses and spread of religion upon killing an enemy unit are great. (I would suggest visually having it appear similar to Phoenician swordsman other than the Greek model)

* Currently the civilisation uses Roman Architecture for its buildings, I would suggest changing it to either Phoenician or Greek (as you mentioned, they have been Hellenzied by that point of time).

* in regards to the city names of the civilisation, I'm a bit confused as they're not familiar to me what so ever compared to those of Romano-Judeo or modern Israel. I'm hoping those can be changed to those which are mentioned here:

* I absolutely love the art style on Herod I & 'Bibi' on the other Israel mods, and would love to see Salome receive the same treatment if possible.

Otherwise, all I can say is thank you so much for adding these Civs into the game and working on them, I genuinely never understood why Civ games never had any Judea / Israel civs in game and these are fantastic and always a joy to play.

Thank you for in-depth feedback, @TheBlazero. One of the issues with Judea is that it is the first the Israelite civilizations that I released and I had no intention to make a contemporary Israel, save for one from the 1930s (Mandate Era) to the 1970s (Golda Meir), meaning that Judea's gameplay is split up and unfocused as it tries to cover more aspects of Jewish civilization than it should. The original Salome Alexandra lacked a project because I did not know how to attach the weather effects to her cities, so to compensate her I made the pastures and whatnot stronger than they currently are (unless I am recalling it wrong). This Christmas season saw a Romanized Israel and I intended a massive rework for this civilization but by the time I was done with Herod it was already the last day of Hanukka so I shelved it. This civilization would have even been renamed to Graeco-Israel in the same fashion as Romano-Israel and sharing the same alternate name functions. The Maccabee was also intended for a more militant alt leader that has yet to be released or decided upon.

That's amazing, I'm looking forward to see the future massive reworks and more Israeli civs coming from you, Genuinely amazing work and I can't thank you enough for making and continuously working on them! They're geninunely my favorite custom civs to play and looking forward to more games with them.
