Fortunately now with the easier mapping and faster compiling of Hammer++ I decided that later on after the modified campaigns are finished there will be alternate versions of them all.
Based on feedback previously from the other campaigns the alternate versions will not include script modifications or custom sounds, and will just use the standard game scripts/settings, for those who prefer.
The reason I raised the common limit by 20 was to create more of a challenge as most custom campaigns don't really modify anything with the infected spawns, though I understand why people prefer them not to be touched for those balancing issues.
Most custom sounds included for the infected are not added with L4D2 game files, so I could not link directly to them, though a select few are in the files already, so I just linked the scripts to read those to save resources. Meaning a handful of the sounds can be replaced by other add-ons.
For me it's a weird but incredible sensation in this map the way you used scripts to change some events/features because it's the first map i play from your L4D Modified pack; and the first time i play a map with scripts, for example the one who can choose between the normal or the metal version of the music that play when the tank appears, or the cars alarms that can be activated even if you're close to them.
I'm like many other players who play this game that didn't even know that scripts existed to change events or features on maps, survivors, common and special infected, etc. That's why the scripts make many players feel a different feeling when playing on this map. At least I don't use scripts.
The mere fact that the airport control tower can be seen from the construction site level makes the campaign perfect and at the same time realistic. Those are the details that are appreciated, and it should be considered in other maps (especially the custom maps).
If I put my comment here it is because I couldn't comment in the other section (where you published the campaign), i know that, like any other person, you have a job, a life purpose and a family to have fun with; don't bother to create the map if you don't have the time, don't feel pressured, it's just a suggestion; but it would be great and an achievement if you, with or without the help of another developer, or mapper, make a version of "Blood Harvest" campaign because it is the only campaign (which I don't remember badly) that is missing from Left 4 Dead(excepting The Last Stand and maybe Dam It, if it's an official campaign and not a custom campaign).
Regardless, from a guy who plays in normal, sometimes advanced difficulty, the overall is 9/10(Sorry, don't have much skills to survive with bots in expert).
