Further rebalancing discussions (Part 5) - Psi abilities
They need to be changed to not have so many requirements because this can absolutely ♥♥♥♥ you over if you dont get all psi trees at ONCE on a singular soldier.

Also all psi abilities should use their LW2 variations, not WOTC. I noticed it with Insanity that it can Mind Control quite alot which has been completely nerfed in the ground in LWOTC.

So

1) Make all psi ability requirements be within its own specialization and not require cross specialization perks

What i mean the best example is Stasis (Resonant) and it requires Fuse (Channeler, also completely different rank requirements)
Stasis is like a basic ability and not being able to use it either at all or halfway through the rank is ridiculous.

This also means its much more optimal to have troops with just some psi specialization and take other combat specialization like Sentinel instead of having to pick more than 1 to be even usable.

Like its OK to have Fortress being a requirement for Bastion, because these 2 are in the same specialization (Resonant)

2) Change all abilties to be the LWOTC version of abilities, from top of my head

A) Insanity
In LWOTC this ability has been nerfed and its chance to MC is almost non existant
B) Templars Aura
This ability doesnt exist in LWOTC, what exists is Solace, which is 1 AP mental purging bolt instead of aura of "lol ♥♥♥♥ your mind control".

Also, this MUST be fixed because Lance is otherwise impossible to get because it requires Solace ability which doesnt exist in RPGO tree.
C) Probably, just in case, check every psi perk that has a version in LWOTC and switch it over to LWOTC.

3) Replace redundant perks
Stasis shield is useless once you switch the Stasis to use the LWOTC ability because Stasis in LWOTC can do that baseline

Stasis shield is the ability that lets you cast stasis on friendly troops

If you want to be one step ahead, Soul Steal will be redundant in future too, because in the dev test testing version, Soul Fire has it as baseline.

So you have 2 vacant perks in future, what they can be replaced... uh
Well, you guys can apparently make completely new perks, i dont expect something wall busting to take these slots, it could be something simple or we could take something from vacant perks or heroic classes.

1) Pillar
This is a Templars ability, it doesnt cost focus and summons high cover, this could take the place of stasis shield.

2) Tradecraft
A stealth perk for psiops ? With psiamp and Tradecraft your psiops will be extremely sneaky.
