Suomussalmi - western area of the map is uncrossable
Not sure what's happening on this scenario but the left of the map is marked as neutral zone and uncrossable therefore I cannot make it to the city and 'assist the finns' = defeat in the scenario. Any help appreciated.

Working as intended. You can assist the Finns using aircraft and an artillery unit (attach the artillery hero Georg from the SCW).

Assist with the Luftwaffe. Focus first on assisting the Finns attacking from the West. I had two runs on Generalissimo. Without massiv assist, the Finns got slaughtered. Use Levelbombers to reduce the entrenchment mainly, in the cityhexes.

Ah ok, makes some sense .. however the finns do not attack suomussalmi and my efforts at bombing the city have not triggered anything so I'm obviously missing some other step?

I haven't had issues with them not attacking. Only issues is the AI can be a bit suicidal when attacking.

hmm no idea what happened, but I started a game and the Finns started to attack! Thanks chaps.
