Any way to use kiln/smelter with low risk of getting burned without blacksmith apron?!
Like in the topic, any ideas? I find making hardened leather really hard, this wax is almost impossible to get. You can forage all day and get no candleberry, to make behieve you need to smelt sth down and wax from crayons seems not working but you need to smelt them down aswell.

you can also get wax from bees. you need to find bugs with the net and the book

you mean wild beehive? Yeah to process it you need some stuff made in kiln which will burn you also... Making behive is same thing

okay we've discovered that you can use kiln/smelter only with fireman jacket, pants, helmet, gasmask and workgloves. You can still burn your hands while using smelter but it's not a big deal. The problem is hazmat suit needed for fireproof suit to use blast furnance. How am I supossed to get one?

So, biggest "trick" that isn't ever mentioned. If you are a Fire Officer or Metalworker, you get 30 extra fire protection. Also, your hands will always burn first, so get hardened leather gloves.

You can get the Hazmat suit in the military base.

There's a house east of Muldragh that spawns hazmat suits. Hopefully on your loot abundance it'll spawn at least one.

Oven mitts give you a tiny bit more protection to the hands
