Auger lost after using intented?
as title asks...i finally got hold of an auger and used it to diq a quarry..but after using it up lost it, whit negroforge i noticed it doesent have the keep: auger clause when doing the quarry...is this intented? kinda crap for a tool thats near impposible to find only for it to be used up in that dig when you still need it after.

Yes, it is intended. You need just to make the quarry or a mine, and then, the items you will be farming, will be coming from the mine/quarry.

well cant really make the mine whitout the quarry so would need 2nd auger just for that..buut seems the auger is much easier to get whit the metal detector.

It absolutely is intended.
It's, in the mod author's words: "A Progression thing" and has even suggested at one point adding a broken auger. The auger's drill tip breaks when building whatever you need to build, basically.

Augers are stupid easy to get if you have enough medium batteries and a metal detector
