Imports and Exports CEO
Import/Export and cargo hubs
OK so the situation was
- Farm Industry Area (from Industry DLC) which contained Extractors, processors, Warehouses and a nearby Cargo Train station.
(Note for this test, I have assumed that Grain means Crops and that this is just a translation issue :) )

I disabled Import/Export of Grain in the mod.
This is what happened. After a while:
- All Extractors stopped Exporting Crops. (they never imported them either to begin with).
- All Warehouses (grain silos etc) stopped exporting AND importing crops. Great.
However
- The Processor buildings were still being delivered Agricultural products from the nearby Cargo Train station - ie: They were still Importing. (None of them exported Crops so no change there).

What this lead to was all of the warehouses becoming completely redundant. They never received any requests from the Processors for crops, nor could they export them. So the number of active trucks went to zero!
The extractors made deliveries to other farms outside of the area, other industry and some of the processors.
But the processors mainly still imported 'agricultural products'.

The assumption (and most likely the correct assumption) is that the game considers Agricultural Products to be Crops.
Unfortunately this means that for some reason in my game, the Mod did not change the way Processor buildings requested crops from Cargo Train Stations.
Its possible that maybe the mod needs to be made to apply it to the station itself? NOt sure how its written.
Happy to provide more info on this to help try and work why this is occurring.

just an additional thought. When I track the trucks that are delivering to the Processors, they have a start location of 'Cargo Train Station' - HOWEVER - I have just realised, that I have many Cargo Tran Stations, and that the products they are delivering, could actually be from another farm, on the other side of the city, that has sent the Agricultural products via Train Station Cargo.
Which means that's its difficult to determine if the source of the goods from the Cargo Train station are in fact from an external import. Normal farms do produce 'raw products' also - and because they can't export them, are transferring them internally.

I will do some more testing, and see what I come back with. The above though is definitely a possible explanation.

Thank you,

The name of 'Agricultural Products' by official on InfoView of import/export to display both 'Grain(Crops)' and 'Food (Agricultural Products)'. If you disabled 'Grain' to import and export, and it worked, and 'Food' still all enable, so it's not affected. They are two different stuffs.

What "Processor buildings" are you built? It should the real reason that this "Processor buildings" need 'Food' and not 'Grain', so they keep importing 'Food (Agricultural Products)', it's normal. So, you can try disabled 'Food' option from mod, then they will not import and export anymore.

"Industry Area DLC" only processing 'Grain(Crops)'.

"Specialized Industrial Administrative Zone" should be processed only 'Food (Agricultural Products)', but from 1.12 version, it can processing both. I don't know it's a bug or official did like that.

The Processor buildings I have are of the Farms in the Industry DLC, so they only import Crops, they don't import 'Food'. So im not expecting turning off of Food to affect it. However will confirm.

Im pretty sure what is happening is the Specialised Industrial area farms are just transporting crops via the train line. hence why they come in from the Cargo Train station.

ill test out turning off Food anyways, and then im going to try and trace the trucks that are coming off the cargo a bit further. will report back soon.

OK Great news.
All of the trucks that are coming from Cargo Train Stations, are unloaded from trains which are INTERNAL ONLY. None of the trucks are flagged as imports in the InfoView, AND the pie chart shows ZERO agricultural imports.
This was with Food imports being on/off. didn't make a difference (at least not to the trucks going to the Processor buildings.)

So I can confirm. Your mod is working here :) Good stuff. Thanks for discussing.
