turning off the mod mid game

Is there anyway to turn off here they come? Trying to make some custom scenarios for my friends but havent been able to figure out how to turn off the mod mid game. I want a lot of zombies to spawn which this does extremely well, but it gets to a certain point where id like to turn it off.

up! I'm having a issue which the event is never ending, which causes to all zombies know my location, I wonder if i could turn the mod off in my save, but I'm afraid to lost my save

This is a late reply but for those still wondering you can modify the mod in sandbox options in the admin menu by using /grantadmin on yourself. Otherwise just remove the mod in the mod menu. The mod is safe to add to a game and you can remove it while probably not messing with anything
